Afternoon, my friend!

I actually sent my Dad and DS to see TS3 yesterday while I was at work. I figured it would be nice bonding time for them.

I'd love to see, but I just couldn't bring myself to go. My mom was so excited about it coming out in theaters (as was my DS) and although I've taken a lot of positive steps since she passed, I just couldn't do this one.

So.....someone tell me about the halloween decorations in the Magic Kingdom. My sisters and I along with our daughters are going for a quick weekend trip in October. I realized the other day that the decorations will be up. I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

They are amazing--I've seen them once. TK goes that time usually so she can share more with you.

Smiley - I love the Halloween decorations! It's also a great time to go because our weather usually (that's my disclaimer) has cooled down a bit by October. Are you trying MNSSHP? We may go back this year. It'll be costly but we really missed not going last year.

Thank you for your kind words. That's pretty much how we look at it. Some people say one day at a time, and I'm moment to moment.

When I saw I had over 21 emails in my inbox this morning, I wondered if one was from my mom. Sometimes I just have those times when I forget there aren't any more emails.

LOVE IT!!!! My favorite time of year to go. I love all the decorations, I love MNSSHP, I love being there at that time of year. If you want, I'll post pictures.

A lot of people (co-workers / customers) have asked me when I'm going to stop working.

There was a time when I thought to myself, one more week. One more week. I can do one more week. It was like my mantra.

Now my mantra is one more day. One more day. I can make it one more day.

I'm just looking forward to seeing the Magic Kingdom in all its spooky glory. I have one more question though....Is any special lighting done to the castle? You know, like the Christmas lights? I love, love, love those lights!!!

Its a good thing you didn't go see it.... I thought it was really good, but there were some scary parts for my 2 year old... He kept reaching for my hand. But it was really emotional.... I cried during it. And even though they always have a happy ending... it just tugs on your emotions. And with you being preggo and all.. I remember crying over everything.. your hormones just are whacked. So, wait until it comes out on video.. and you're ready for it. Anyway... on a new topic... my 2 year old is potty training.. and he's doing great. He told me in the movie he had to go, but I kinds figured he already did, and I didn't want to get up and drag him through the row to the potty to find out he already went in his pull up.. but when the movie was over.. he was dancing around saying he wanted to go, so I ran him into the bathroom, and he went. AND... he was still dry. He went a WHOLE day yesterday with no accidents... ( We just really started with the pull-ups about a week ago or so.. ) I'm H-A-P-P-Y~

Everything is really awesome... Autumn colored banners, lots of big Mickey shaped pumpkin heads and pumpkins everywhere. They do special lights and fireworks during the MNSSHP, but the rest of the time, I don't recall any special lighting on the castle. I would post some pictures.. but I can't remember how to do that... I'm not dumb, but a little scatter-brained most of the time. mostly when it comes to computer stuff.

The only special lighting that I can recall is actually during the halloween parties. I will get some pictures up for you this weekend, hon. My "work week" gets a little scary!

What you just said to me could have been written by one of my other friends, she told me the same thing. That she loved it, and it was funny, but their were some tearjerker moments. I'll wait for it to come out on video, that's for sure.
