not such a fabulous day in the world of becca

long day at school, that i can handle

knowing i was going to have to paint small little lines for hours at tech practice, that i can handle

homework, that i can handle

breaking up with my (now ex) boyfriend, not something i can handle

i know i had to do it, but i've never done it before, and technically i've never been 'dumped'; just ignored into oblivion...

it was an awkward conversation and i almost felt like i hadn't accomplished what needed to be done after i had walked away

he didnt say much, which doesn't bother me but i'm soooo not looking forward to hanging in the theater tomorrow. i know hell be there and its probably going to be awkward. and i'm NOT giving up hanging in the theater just because he's gonna be there.

so yeah now you guys are filled in, not that it's anything enjoyable

It's a song cliche, but true, breaking up is hard to do. You'll be okay. It'll be awkward for a while, but tomorrow will be a better day!

I've stayed home from work today. My hacking cough makes me sound like an incubus for the plauge, so I figured another day of rest was in order. Plus, my kiddo could use another day at home, too, so here we are.
