Shay--that's exactly what I do. I went to the work with the flu for a week. Slept through the weekend. This was the middle of last month.

Mean Queen, you did one of my absolute favorite things on your trip. Got on the first bus that came. I love that spontaneous method of touring. So much fun.

Well, we are all sick as dogs over here. My DS has a double ear infection and is on antibiotics. I seem to have picked up the nasty cough/cold that he started with, so I'm miserable and soooo not looking forward to going to work tomorrow. I, too, am one of those who will try to work through it, also because we only get so much PTO during the year, and our sick and vacation time is all lumped together as one.

And I know how you feel, it used to be that way for my husband. His current boss now lets him take two weeks pto, to be used at his discretion. The previous owners would close down the shop two weeks out of the year, two weeks of their choice, and if you got sick, oh well.

You're so right. And I'm normally not so whiny and cranky, but pregnant and sick just stinks. Stinks. Hopefully with spring around the corner, this will be my last bout with something like this. A girl can dream, can't she?
