AHEM. . .first of all, I have totally started another new page.

LOL. . .my typing has gotten worse and worse recently.

You are welcome. Don't tell I told my recipe. I could lose my Southern status.

Well, at least you gave it to another person in the South (no need to mention that I'm a transplant....:rolleyes1).

Is it sacreligous to use decaf Lipton? I actually prefer Lipton for iced tea, anyway, so at least I'm doing something right!

Thanks for sharing. I promise not to tell.

I was going to ask a similar question.....the last thing I need in my life is MORE caffeine!

Smileybug, it's been FUN!!!!!!!!!!! Come back soon and play with us again, 'k?

I have to go put the chickens IN before the spiders come OUT....but I'll be back if anyone's still around and -- good heavens -- still chatty!

My kids are still over at camp....I wonder if someone adopted them?!:rotfl2:

.

G'night, hon!

Alright, I need to start the next one, it's only fair.

Guess it's up to you and me now, eh?

YOu start the next one. I started the last 3. :scared1:

daisyyy, we say beach.

Smiley, OMG AKV Savanna view! How exciting!

The new siggies look great. I should do something with mine. Sure would be nice to have my computer back.

LegoMom, I couldn't take walking into spider webs either. :scared1:

SADIEDOG!

SadieDog!

Join the party!!! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 What she said

I shared with Dan, and he definitely is a transplant!

Make sure you have no varmits with the chickens. We've had a bunch of them recently.

I'm back!!......didja miss me?!....huh?...huh?!

No varmints near the chickens lately. The only issue we had was the raccoon and no others have come around since then (well, at least not down there....they come through the car port almost nightly, based on the little paw prints in the sand).

There does seem to be a run on Garden spiders this year, though. They are EVERY where. Fortunately they are not the ones that you run into their webs. They tend to stay up and in out-of-the-way places. They're pretty cool.

YAY! And with that, my dear, I think I'm out! Have a great night! :goodvibes

.

Hey, that's my line!

G'night, LegoMom.

G'night, nanners!

I'll be here all week. :lmao:

Well, unless the baby makes an appearance, but enough rambling...

Holy Cow, Batman. Eleven pages in one day.

No larbard side? Hmph.

Here's what I came up with--I could do better with more time, but I am still trying to do laundry at the same time.

Babnana.jpg

Not great, but it's a start.

I like it.

Oh, and daisyyy and Smileybug. . .is there a drink other than Pepsi and coffee?

And Legomom--so glad I can be a less than honorable influence on you today.

Did you ever watch Laverne & Shirley. Larverne drank Pepsi & Milk.

H*ll froze over today. Last week I told DD that I was sick and tired of seeing her dirty room and that over the weekend when she was at her dad's I was going to clean out her closet & room and put everything in a big pile. Today she threw out the stuff she didn't want and left the stuff she did want in a pile. I went up then and helped her put everything neatly away. 'Lo and behold she even has space left over on the shelves in her room. AND YOU CAN SEE THE FLOOR!!!!

That hidden Mickey is so cool!

I wonder if I should start with that in photoshop. . .the Starbucks logo.

See, we can do the Starbucks babnana logo DIS-sign, TK can make us some tie-dye shirts, Legomom do the iron-on logo, and have that Babnana trip to Disney we have been talking about for 2 years. . . :rolleyes1

Sounds like a plan! I'm in (since I'm the closest that's probably a given.) Maybe you'll be able to stay in your own DVC resort by that time.

Not great, but it's a start.

Looks good but it needs more typos. :surfweb: Or a heart farting Pooh (much better than a heart farting poo.)

You know, I knew that, but I had to ask. :lmao:

The problem is, I'm only an honorary GRITS. :sad1:

Yum. Grits. With cheese. Or butter. Or both. (or sugar, but I still hear my mother yelling at me "that's so hillbilly!" when I do)

:rotfl2:
I'm getting better. I just learned my new favorite--a Grande Java Chip Frap with an extra shot of espresso and caramel added. Tastes like a Milky Way bar. . .

I love sweet tea, too. I hate going to Disney and being told they are too far south for sweet tea. What? There's no such thing as "too far south".

:rotfl: I'll admit, there has to be some crack in McDonald's tea.

First - I must try that combo! I've been hooked on the dark cherry mocha frapps lately.

Florida is too far south to be the "south". We're practically the tropics. :beach:

"Give me a career as a buccaneer

it's the life of a pirate for me!!!!"

And the winner is TK!

My little one is really hating sleep lately. She takes over an hour to fall asleep. She either fights, delays, or just lays there awake while I sit in her room. She's going through an afraid of everything stage. She can't go anywhere in the house alone. I hope this stage ends soon.

Wow... you guys are awwwwesome... :worship:
Why is it always 2:30 in the morning when I have a chance to check back in?? I haven't even made it to bed yet , so ,I wanted to see what I missed since I lost track of how many pages ago. How many pages was that today? yesterday? Well... since it is officially tomorow, let me be the FIRST to say MORNIN' ;)
I think it's time for a taste test on the sweet tea,,, Now I don't drink coffee, but I love that iced tea. fresh brewed & lemons. I might have to try your recipes for sweet tea. I usually drink it straight, just don't need the extra sugar, but I will try anything. Everyone else likes sweet tea. It will be the great tea debate. do you have a good fresh squeezed lemonade recipe too?? Do you know if you have to boil the water first to disolve the sugar before adding lemons?? :confused3 and how many lemons??? I'm sure there's a right way to do it. I am guessing it's not too difficult, but there has to be a way to make sure the sugar disolves, and it has the correct ratio of sweetness and tartness.
TK... you really did it, cause now I've got the song going through my head.pirate:

Ok... I better get some sleep. I'm sure I'll miss another six pages by the time I wake up.

Oh.. one more thing... Lego mom... Love your new ticker. I gotta do some updating on mine too. I just gotta remember how I did it before. PAMom... glad you got your DD to clean. I'm always yellin at mine too.... especially when they say they are bored. " well,,, you can always clean your room. " the only time they do it without me asking is when they want something. Don't they all?

Good Morning!

As far as iced tea goes, I love lemon in it. There is one fast food restaurant in South Carolina (it's only in the Columbia area) that when you order tea from it, they give you leamon in the cup. Now that's service! :thumbsup2 They also have the best milkshakes ever. If you are ever in the Columbia, SC area, look for a Rush's. Order their fried chicken basket with tea. But don't eat their coleslaw.

I actually do make my own lemondae, as well, and I use hot tap water to dissolve the sugar. I squeeze 6 lemons to a pitcher, and put a fully cut up lemon (a 7th one) into the lemonade. I fill it with water, 1 cup sugar, and the rest with ice.

I'll be at work, so I don't believe I'll be the person armed with a keyboard today.

Mornin, nanners. I have a meeting with my principal this morning. I actually did get my schedule done yesterday. And the winner for instruction after the calendar is. . . . . .

Language Arts :rotfl:

I know the new principal. She worked at another school in the district before coming to the high school. Some teachers are mad at her. I don't think it's her fault the district decided to force our prior principal into retirement. I've been in her shoes before--twice in our district. People seem to hold it against you that you have taken the place of a popular person. It used to get to me, but it doesn't anymore. I'm there to do a job and regardless of how others feel, I'm going to do that job. In my case, the school district was going to be sued by a parent. The previous teacher (a 42-year veteran) needed to retire, and would totally not keep up with the paperwork required to keep us from paying out the nose. I was put into that position to stop the lawsuit, and I did. After awhile, everyone forgot I took that teacher's place, and put their anger at the district office, who didn't inform her she was leaving correctly.

Anywho, I plan to be on the new principal's side. But she wants a tour of my classroom/office this morning and I've been cleaning out a closet (Translation--I have a mess!).

Have a great Tuesday, babnanas.
