daisyyy -- Really?....what up with the 2am bit?! Are you drinking too much caffeine? Oh and thanks for the "like" on my ticker...I'm rather partial to it myself. While the dates may not be exact at this time, I'm really really really really really hoping it just "happens!" We always go in September, for Free Dining. Can't beat it.

I don't like lemon in my sweet tea, just unsweet. Is that weird?

Holy Cow, Batman. Eleven pages in one day.

Wow, was it really eleven?

H*ll froze over today. Last week I told DD that I was sick and tired of seeing her dirty room and that over the weekend when she was at her dad's I was going to clean out her closet & room and put everything in a big pile. Today she threw out the stuff she didn't want and left the stuff she did want in a pile. I went up then and helped her put everything neatly away. 'Lo and behold she even has space left over on the shelves in her room. AND YOU CAN SEE THE FLOOR!!!!

My dear sweet lord! I knew I felt a disturbance in the force.

Yum. Grits. With cheese. Or butter. Or both. (or sugar, but I still hear my mother yelling at me "that's so hillbilly!" when I do)

Another thing I would have no clue how to make properly.

First - I must try that combo! I've been hooked on the dark cherry mocha frapps lately.

Now that sounds good.

My little one is really hating sleep lately. She takes over an hour to fall asleep. She either fights, delays, or just lays there awake while I sit in her room. She's going through an afraid of everything stage. She can't go anywhere in the house alone. I hope this stage ends soon.

Just be glad you don't work with me, I've been known to break in song spontaneously throughout the day.

I actually do make my own lemondae, as well, and I use hot tap water to dissolve the sugar. I squeeze 6 lemons to a pitcher, and put a fully cut up lemon (a 7th one) into the lemonade. I fill it with water, 1 cup sugar, and the rest with ice.

How did you know that I was interested in finding a good lemonade recipe???

Mornin, nanners. I have a meeting with my principal this morning. I actually did get my schedule done yesterday. And the winner for instruction after the calendar is. . . . . .

Boy... I guess everyone was tuckered out from all the excitement yesterday.... or maybe no one had their coffee or sweet tea yet today. It's too quiet! I thought I would have at least 15 pages to catch up on after yesterday, so I check in, and I see we've stalled!
Sadie, I hope you get yours back soon, it's frustrating not having complete access to a pc.
Amanda, Glad to hear your meeting went well. When does school start for you? I really should check our school calendar and figure out when my kids go back. You would think I would already know that. But, I just basically take things week by week around here. Ironically.. I'm a planner in my profession, but everything else... not so much. I used to try and figure out what I was doing week by week, for the whole summer in February...but I gave up on that. There's always too many variables, so I like to roll week by week now, and see what happens. But, I should have at least an idea if they go back before Labor day or after. ?? I don't panic about the little stuff anymore,
LegoMom... I know... 2 am is too late, and I sure don't get enough sleep,, I run on empty most days... but working a full time job, and coming home to 4 kids and their activities. I just stay up late taking care of laundry and making sure I'm ready for the next day. I'm not complaining or looking for sympathy.. I just get more done when everyone else is asleep, and then it's my time to look stuff up on the computer. with no distractions. I've always been a night owl, and learned to get by with less sleep. My DH on the other hand,,, gets cranky when he's up too late... a marriage made in heaven..
well... we've got another swim meet tonight... if we win, we'll be undefeated this season... Saturday is the last meet, unless my DD qualifies for champs, and if she does, (likely)... then next Tuesday will be our last summer meet. We'll have the month of August off from swimming until the winter team and USA team starts up in Sept. I'm looking forward to a month off from being a swim mom. Not a soccer mom... Or... Hockey mom like Sarah Palin would say! Not that there's anything wrong with that. I've still got 3 other kids, and I don't know what sport (if any) they will get involved in. (I just hope it's not soccer). No offense.. I know nothin' about soccer.
