How's the day shift going? Is it hard to re-adjust? Probably not as much for this as for going back to nights! I did an overnight shift for a year or so. Kinda funky.

I'd be shocked if Marie O. were in the final two. She did o.k, but seemed stiff. So, if the two other judges are starting their own show, does this mean they won't be on DWTS next year/season?

They won't attack you. No, this is just a show they will be doing next season then they'll be back from DWTS. I think we'll see a lot more reality right now with the writer's strike. Marie's final freestyle dance was horrendous. She was a great entertainer most of the season, but dancing is not her strong suit.
Even if they don't get it and their offer for us is presented, by that time there's no way we'd be looking at moving right after Christmas. After the first of the year, I don't care, but I was getting so panicky about the prospect of being so busy packing that I'd miss the magic of my most favorite season. Now I don't have to worry! I still want to book a trip for next September. I almost have the $200 deposit!! I need something like that to keep me going....
Welllllllllll, I decided at work today to read my not so DSis's email. The computer decided to clean out the trash today. So now I'll never know, oh well.
Well, at least now when she asks if you read her note, you can honestly say "No, the computer ate all my messages!"

Hey, anyone else planning to watch Shrek the Halls tonight?? Did you catch A Charlie Brown Christmas last night?!? I just love Christmas specials....
But like the message in Shrek the Halls - families aren't perfect. 
Anyway, we've already decided that this Christmas we just want to spend it together at home with our furbabies. We did that for Thanksgiving and it was perfect!

My DS11 just got home from school, about 15 minutes early. They had their 2nd bomb threat in 2 days....
Your first reaction, as a parent, is panic. Then on the other hand, you figure it's middle school, so it's probably some poor soul who thinks it's funny to cause such a ruckus.
Tomorrow being Friday, I have half a mind to just keep him home for the day. I just tried to access the school's web site but can't get in (Gee, ya think!?!).
My DH had already left for work so doesn't know about this yet. HE may be the one who throws a fit! If my MIL finds out, it's all over....
You think your kids ought to be relatively safe at school. I remember the days when all you had to worry about was the school bully taking your lunch money.
