Oh please!!! Indulge me for a few more weeks, would ya?!!? It's already cooling off here - we're losing our 80s and will only be in the 70s for the next several days. Nice, but not true summer!

Of course, you may be sweltering where you are, so by all means practice for winter!

I just don't want to think about cold...It'll be here soon enough. Blah.

Sorry to hear about your piggy's too. Are the kids bummed about not keeping them?

When I reminded my DD11 that the piggies were going tonight, she cried. She knew for quiet some time that they needed to go.

This probably belongs on the meanest mommy thread, but I did it. I wouldn't let the kids watch HSM II. There was close to 3 hrs to go and I told the kids, kids, clean up. clean your rooms, pick up things off the floor, sort some laundry, pick up your trail of shoes, socks, clothing.... They did good for about 30 minutes and then it got quiet. Too quiet. So, I went upstairs to find the three hooligans watching a movie. Ohhhh, I was steaming. *sigh* So, they've been banned from anything electronic touching or seeing it tonight. What they don't know is that I checked the shows for tomorrow and HSM II is on again at 1pm our time . *evil laughing big time*

PaMom, tell me more about your piggies. DD is dying to have one after watching Little Bill's Elephant. How much matinance do they require? Do they smell? We told her we'd talk about it when she's 8, which is less than 6 mos. from now. We already have a dog she forgets to feed. She'd have to do all the work. do guina pigs get vacinations?

Those snow angels will become sand angels once LegoMom moves to Florida. There is no preparing for Winter here, cause there is no Winter. But I have heard that some people actually like the cold!

The Tag Fairy is NOT a glorified Tooth Fairy. I heard some people accused them of this before and it didn't go over well. So I just thought it beared repeating.

Nice song by the way, though I've never seen a Veggie Tale so I don't know the song. There's just something perverse about a talking cucumber.
