That's so funny... Ours runs July-Sept. because that's when it's WARM!! LOL! When we get down there, I'll whip you up a batch!:thumbsup2

Sounds like a plan! Any idea where you're moving to yet?

We're looking at the Ocala area, but nothing concrete yet. My dad lives in Pinellas Park, though - right next door to you!

That's very close! One of my best friends lives in PP. We're heading there tomorrow for a High School Musical 2 party. She's being brave and having 8 girls sleep over (3 are her own.) Ocala is a very nice growing area. Are you involved in horses? That's what that town is known for.

Horses are my PASSION!! Actually, the fact that there are so many in the Ocala area is just a nice bonus (no...a really COOL bonus!!), and not what brought us to research the area initially. We're looking more inland, and a bit north. We've been to Ocala and it was one of those places that really struck us as "Hey, this could be 'home!' " I don't want to be too far from my dad, either, and it's a reasonable distance from PP (although anything beats the 1500 miles we have now!).

Eight girls at a sleepover.....:scared: Wow. Of course, I went to plenty of those in my day, but now as a parent, I shudder to think...! But I've got boys; they don't tend to gather in packs. At least not yet...

For farmer's market I'll probably make about 3 or 4 loaves of wheat bread, 3 or 4 of white, some Irish Soda bread (raisin and plain!), blueberry coffee cake and raspberry cake (the hot sellers) and a few batches of cookies (this week it's molasses). Most of the time if the weather is good, I'll sell out.

Yummo. Everything sounds so good.

PaMom, I just love your self-tag...! Everytime I read it I chuckle. We all should be dodging the TF, not chasing!!

But then we wouldn't have this thread... Although this is more like commiserating, not actually chasing.:rolleyes1

Anyone else doing anything for HSM2? I'm actually looking forward to it. I thought the first one was good. It's like a current day "Grease."

Hey everyone. HAPPY FRIDAY!!   The only thing we have planned is WORKING in this house. But, I'm actually happy to do it. :thumbsup2 We have to get things done.

Hi Tagless people!

No big plans here this weekend. I'm still baking today. Farmer's Market tomorrow morning. Having a cookout with some family on Sunday. Nice quiet weekend for the most part!

Oh yeah, and still working on our house, too!

Why thank you.

The only plans here are taking the guinea pigs to the Humane Society. I lost a well paying job and now work 2 part time jobs. Unfortunately, we can't take care of them and all of the ads we placed had no takers. :sad1: Then I have to get a little bit of grocery shopping done for the beach(parents are paying).

Sorry to hear about your guinea pigs. I hope the Humane Society finds them some nice homes.

We have the HSM2 party tonight, I set a date to see "Bourne Ultimatum" with DH tomorrow, and Sunday is a baseball game for my Grandparent's 57th wedding anniversary. It sounds like a lot, but it isn't for us.

I'm debating letting my 7 year old dd and 6 yr old ds watch it. I'm not sure they're ready for it (or is it just me?). They've been watching zac and Cody the last couple days and again, I'm not sure if they're ready for it (and again, me too. I'd have to cope with them really growing up and getting out of the blue's clues/ dora/ mickey house club house phase ). Would HSM2 be appropriate for these young ages?

Queen I think you nailed it on the head in your quote.

I've been reading back several posts and how cool is that that two posters will be living close together. Would you two have encountered each other otherwise?

PaMom, I like your self tag too, very funny. Sorry to hear about your piggy's too. Are the kids bummed about not keeping them?

There is a big difference between HSM and Grease. All the kids in HSM are "good" kids. There is no smoking, no drinking, no adult references. It's all very Disneyfied. The "bad" kids are really just snobs. It has a very good message about being who you are, rather than what others think you should be. I bet HSM2 will also be good for all ages. The music is actually very good. Your kids may or may not like it, but there isn't anything inappropriate in it.

LegoMom will still be a bit far from me. But it will be cool to have her in the same state. I'm sure we'll be able to meet up at WDW once she gets her annual passes.

Agreed! My 7 year old loves it as well as my 16 year old sister, it appeals to a wide range of people. It is very Disney nothing that I am questionable about.

Thanks for the insight of the show. Obvisously we haven't seen HSM I and am clueless as to what its all about. I just see all the teasers on Disney for HSM II.

Whose having the sleepover? You are a brave woman. I remember going to other people's sleepovers and rarely having my own as a kid/teen.

If I ever move to FL. Either the most northern tip of the state or the most southern tip of the state I'd STILL get an AP to the World. :thumbsup2 I'd be just trilled to have part of the World in my wallet. :goodvibes

A friend of mine is doing the sleepover. My DD and her DD's are friends. I'm just going to watch the movie (if the baby lets me) then go.

It is nice to look in my wallet and see those passes when I'm having a bad day. I'm always planning my next trip. Right now, we have a trip planned every month between now and January. Though our December trip isn't to WDW, it's to the DVC resort at Hilton Head. I think Disney is our payment for suffering the heat and humidity for most of the year.:cool2:
