I tried the Elvis Reeses, but I didn't know they came out with peanut butter and banana M&M's!

Now I'm going to have to fix myself a bowl of Take the Cake. The cake flavored Edy's.

I was wrong and you were right!! It was Reeses. Not M&M's.:goodvibes

PassPorter sounds like a great book. Thanks. Do you know about how much it is? I didn't notice the price on the link you sent me. I just saw that it was out of stock. My Barnes and Noble might carry it.

You will love it. Can't go wrong with this book. :thumbsup2

I still don't get it!!..... are you talking about the link I posted??? I've only ever not been able to post a link to the Unofficial site (it competes with TourGuide Mike, who's the official DIS sponser, as we all know... ).

The PassPorter site is just another Disney info site; they don't offer any tour*ng p1ans and there's nothing offensive or devisive about it so I wouldn't think you'd need to be nervous about that! Their message boards are actually VERY friendly.

Of course, if I suddenly disappear from this thread..... :scared:

Didn't mean to upset you. I've just been a scardy cat lately.

I'm off. Hubby and I are going to watch a movie. Talk to ya'll later. :goodvibes

Oh you didn't upset me!! I was just confused!...:flower3:

I think the "incidents" of late were related to attitudes and things being said to/about others, and not just non-DIS info (does that make sense??!).

Wow, we had a pretty busy Friday night in here!! Guess we were all home and not out doing anything exciting...:rotfl:

My dad leaves today. :sad1: I'll be busy until later but will check back in tonight!

Good morning.

LegoMom, I'm sure you will miss your Dad. Sounds like you had a nice visit.

Today is my daughter's dance recital. She is in 3 of the dances. My son has a baseball game the same time I have to bring my daughter for warm up so I will probably miss his game. It's been pretty busy around here with dance and baseball, but after the recital, dance will be over for the year.

Anyone else busy today or are you just hanging around the house?

Good morning ya'll :grouphug:

Morning! I see I'm not the only one getting up early on a weekend. I guess I should just be happy my little one slept in her own room all night. She's had a tough sleep spell lately. She's going through that phase where she feels she's missing out on something while she sleeps.

We have our recital June 14th. My DD is now only in hip hop. Ballet was too structured for her. That makes it much easier and cheaper come recital time with only her dance and mine. I take tap. I worry about the day both of my kids have activities. I'm sure you always end up missing something. Good luck with your DD's recital and DS's game!

I don't enjoy getting up early on weekends. Lately I have been waking up by 6:30am on Sat and Sun. Even if I go to bed late. Then I get really tired later in the day. I'm not what you call a morning person so I have not been thrilled with this new early rising.

Hip Hop is fun to watch. My DD classes are not very specific, they are Intermediate Modern and Modern Rep. Sometimes they do slower routines and sometimes fast. With all the end of the year things that pop up, 2 costumes are always hard to fit in the budget. There is a hip hop class, but for some reason she doesn't take that one, but like I said, I love to watch the hip hop routine. You must have fun in tap. My son took tap for 3 years. He grew up watching a teen boy and a younger boy tapping at the recitals so he wanted to give it a try. He stopped once he hit middle school (6th grade) He would rather play his other sports. Fall is even busier. Then it's football and field hockey at the same time.

My DD loves hip hop, though she's a bit rhythmically challenged. :dance3: I love tap. It's great exercise and lots of fun. Our school actually has a class for adult males too (with one older teen boy.) I bet those dance classes helped your son with his football and field hockey.

I also think tap helped him with football. It used to be a funny sight picking him up from tap and having to throw on his football uniform to make it to practice. That's not something you see everyday. His instructor thought that was the funniest thing. She got a big kick out if it. It's my DD that is in field hockey. They each play a fall sport, that's what makes it so crazy around here.

You are right, tap is a great exercise. More so than people think. I wish I was given the opportunity to take dance when I was younger. Did you take tap as a kid or start out as an adult?

Boy, I sure miss all of the activities my kids used to be in. I hope ya'll take in every second of it. They grow up before you know it.

I started about 4 years ago with some other moms. We were watching our girls in class and after about a year, decided to take a class too. I wanted to do hip hop, but the others wanted tap, so I joined in. I still may do hip hop sometime. I took ballet a bit as a kid, but that's all the dance I had.

My DD has no interest in sports (like me.) Though I may put her in swim class again. It's great exercise and helps beat the Florida heat.

That's great you and some friends take dance together. :dance3:

My DD is not really that interested in sports either, but she will play field hockey. When she was young, she tried softball, soccer and basketball. She didn't care to continue with them. Swimming is great exercise. Not too many months in Maine you can swim though. :lmao:
