Just got back from the grocery store!

And everyone's gone!! DH is working at camp. I can only assume the boys are down at the apartment using the PS2 (the joys of the off-season and having extra space available!) Deductive reasoning tells me they're not out exploring like they did yesterday, because DS9's shoes are here. He usually walks barefoot down to the apartment.

But my it's quiet here in the house!

Mornin' everyone! I've been awake for a while.....the cats decided to go berserk on me sometime shortly after 6:00. One in particular is really kickin' it up this morning! No matter, I've got things to do today anyway.

So I was browsing our local craigslist page yesterday under "Farm & Garden." I'm trying to get a feel for the horse community around here, and esp. the price of hay. Well one click led to another and before you know it I'm staring true love in the face.... A little black Arabian gelding...... He's for sale at an unbelievable price. The gal is thinning her herd prior to winter.

Dude...

Mean Queen saw my post on Facebook, but I said that THIS is the horse that could make me give up my trips to Disney!!! If my facilities were ready I'd be on the phone with this woman today.... Dang!


Now if you'll excuse me, I'm heading outside to fix some fences and tackle the brush!

Not too bad. I have a 'normal' sinus headache today. Not the terrible throbbing that I have had lately. We are getting things together for the race tomorrow. We have to leave about 7am.

We just got back from a long walk in the woods with the dogs. They are outside drying as they are pretty wet from pond water.

That would be the beginning of my birthday celebration working up to the actual date of the 28th. I figure if I'm going to get older, I better get some fun out of it by enjoying my birthdays. We'll spend the weekend before at WDW, of course. And I'll be there on my birthday to get my gift card.
