Good morning ya'll.

Hey SadieDog. The morning temps are changing here as well. Though I'm sure ours are no where near yours.

Yesterday my hubby was out cutting line in preparation to shoot a job. He stepped in something that he claims is bear poo. It's possible.....we do have a few black bears around. He was just sooooo dog gone proud of the fact. Men......do they ever really grow up.

Fall is in the air....it was only 68 when I got up!.....



We're in the middle of vehicle issues this morning.... The starter appears to be dead but the last bolt holding it on is SOOO rusted that DH is having a hard time not stripping it out. If that happens, we're sunk. That's the last northern vehicle I own, I swear... Salt is a killer.

Other than that, the sun is shining again and it promises to be a beautiful day!

Okay, so she's still running a temp and her pediatrician was out sick. It's gotta be bad when they are out. So I took her to my family doctor today, because I couldn't wait longer--she's asthmatic. She's on a couple of meds, sleeping, and her temp is down from 103 to 100.

I, on the other hand, have gotten NO sleep. I keep worrying about her--sleeping in the living room so I can hear her, and I have to get up at 2:30am to make online ADRs tomorrow.

It's gonna be a long day. . .

Legomom--can you not find a good welder to help you out? Although for my dad's truck, a welder would be no help because of the location of the starter. . .

Okay, so my ADRs are done. No Citricos this time. My girls won out with wanting to eat in the castle. I know it's not a great meal, but I guess we should do it once. . .

creativeamanda - first off, I really hope your DD is feeling much better, real soon!... Sorry you're so sleep-deprived. Why in the world did you need to do ADRs at that hour?!! Glad you got what you wanted, though. And yes, I think you should do the castle at least once, even if the food is "meh."

Oh, and re: the van. The biggest problem (besides $$$!) is that the van is HERE. To get it anywhere else would require a tow truck. And since we live so far from town, that's more $$$. I have AAA but I'm not sure they work in this type of situation (as in I'm stuck at my own house and not on the road). DH has the know-how and mostly the tools he needs, but the real problem is lack of space. Everything is SO crammed in there. No wonder why the garages make so much money on a "simple" repair, they've gotta take out half the other parts just to get to the one you need replaced!!

Mean Queen - so how's Florida these days? Is it still pretty hot? We've cooled off quite a bit this past week. It started with a good bout of rain, but still hasn't gone back to real "hot" again. Right now it's dry, 70, and very breezy.....feels so good! We've been missing the beach lately....
