Morning guys! How's everyone? We have a busy week at camp starting later today....DH will have his plate full! I'm still trying to unpack and get some semblance of organization around here.
Saw a large snake in the pond last night....
I'm not "afraid" of snakes per se, but since there are more venomous species here than up north, it pays to recognize them and be aware. Can't put a positive ID on this one but not of the question that it's a cottonmouth. DH put the tip of a fishing pole in the water to try to move the algae so we could get a better look at its body, and the thing swung around and went after the pole!! Cottonmouths are known as an aggressive snake. We have harmless water snakes out there, too, but they tend to scoot away pretty quick when they see you. So, DH is going to have his "22" ready for the next time we see this thing....
Now wasn't that a nice story for your Tuesday morning??....
TK, can you post a pic of one of your Mickey tie-die shirts when they're done?? I'm very intrigued!
