In all likelihood, yes. I mean, we'd be daft not to. It's a job for DH doing something he loves, and comes with a house/utilities.... We love Florida, but we tried it and it just didn't work out.
And yes, I'm moving away from Disney again but I don't actually see that as a bad thing. First of all, we will now be a reasonable driving distance to go there for our vacations, so no more figuring airfare into that budget!
I will also be able to take our pop-up and go to Fort Wilderness, and as much as I'm in love with POR, the Fort - even in peak season - is so much less expensive. Another $$ saver! And finally, it means we'll be back to doing our Disney trips for a week at a time.....and that means.....
I get to plan a trip!!!!!!
(Fort Wilderness for a week in early November 2010, to be exact....
)
And we all know I'm all about the planning....
I was actually concerned at how much "planning" I did for my recent day-trip. I mean, really??
So there you have it.
On another note, creativeamanda, I love the pirate pic, too! We finally bought "At World's End" and have been watching it all weekend.
.
I'm so happy for you, hon. It sounds like a wonderful opportunity, and a great way for you to get back on track. I know it's been stressful for you, and there's nothing wrong with moving! Again, you're within driving distance and you get to plan trips now, which is really nice.
Yeah, I read that little update of yours - how COOL for you!
That will be neat, too, having that extra time for your family. Are you just going to hang out for those two days, or are parks involved?
.
Well, so far the plan is to do nothing.
In all honesty, I think the first day will be mainly a resort day, and the next day we may do DisneyQuest. I'll probably post about it soon. The only thing that gives me pause on that is Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (who I love) is playing in Epcot as part of the Eat to the Beat concert series, and now I'll be there on their last day, which is the 27th. I just don't know if I want to spend the money on park tickets for one day to see them, especially because of how early our flight is.
And I love the idea of having no plans. We have no ADRs, no set plans, no must dos. It's just whatever the three of us want to do for those two days. I'm in HEAVEN. I've been whining about wanting a trip like that for a long time, now I can sort of mix it in with the big family trip, and it's great.
