Okay, I changed my mind. I can't go to DW without my kids. So. . .the kids and I are going together the first few days in October for the MNSSHP. No, dh is not going, but the kids and I will have an awesome time!

And yes, I know I'm a sap, but I can't not take the kids.

That will be tons of fun.

Oh not me!....I could SOOO go without them!!! I would love a solo trip....just me. My kids have been several times in their young lives, and they'll go again. DH used to think he'd feel guilty going without the boys (we want to do a big special trip for our 20th, in 2012) but after the last trip with all of us, he now agrees that a trip without them would be fun! I love 'em with all my heart, but I love my alone time!!

I'm reading about different resort hotels. Like I don't know enough, but hey. Since we added two days on to our trip, I'm questioning my choice. I'm not the queen of resortitis, but I am a contender for the royal family.

Yup, I'm here. Been staying up a lot lately. Sort of dissatisfied with a lot of things right now, and DISing...well, it helps me avoid it for a little bit, I guess.

You know what I learned tonight? They have limited spa services at Coronado Springs.

That's so cool that you can research all these different resorts and compare features and such. I mean I "could", but as a family of 5 we're limited to where we can stay so I really just keep to what will work for us. We did ASMo on our first family trip, when DS7 was still under 3, but other than that, we've only stayed at POR. LOVE it, but unless I can suddenly spring for two rooms or a deluxe, there's just no where else I can even consider!

I have to tell you, I'd really love to try POR as well. I know I stayed at it when it was Dixie Landings...wait...did I? I can't remember! I thought I did, but I don't remember it. I think DS would get a huge kick out of the ole swimmin' hole. And I'd love the boat to Downtown. Actually, that would be a much better fit for our two day add on to this trip, but sadly, there's no availability with our without the room discount code.

Anything at the French Quarter?? That's a pretty resort, too, and not so spread out. Plus, it's the only place on Disney property where you're actually allowed to pool-hop! Riverside and FQ can share each other's pools. FQ has a really cool dragon slide and neat theming; and then you can walk or take the boat over to POR and do the swimmin' hole bit. The boat trips to DTD are really, really nice!



I think I'm heading to bed now....eyelids are getting heavy....Of course my cats pick NOW to get ramped up and tear around the house....Silly beasts.

Phew. That big ole yawn that just came out of my mouth indicates I should head to bed to. That and DH just said to me, "What are you doing? Don't you have to work tomorrow?"

There's no availability at any of the mods but CSR, which is what we're booked at for those two nights. If they had any of the others, I'd switch in a heartbeat. Not that I'm not excited about the Dig Site, because I think DS will love it, just that POR/POFQ would fit more with all the Downtown stuff we want to do, and CBR I'm in love with and of course, I'd LOVE the pirate pool for my little nut.
