My daughter is home for the long weekend. She is loving college. I was surprised to learn her small community college brings drug dogs into the dorms. Her classes average about 20 students.

That's great that she's loving it! College was such a fun time. Plus, dork that I am, I loved the classes.

Good morning. We are getting ready to go to our camp. We are bringing our camper and it will be the 1st time it is used this year. I cannot stay in the camp b/c it is a rotting, falling apart disaster. The dampness and mold is too much for me. The camp is actually still in my husbands dead grandmothers estates name b/c there has been a title problem for MANY years. It is taking forever to get fixed. It really needs to be torn down and rebuilt. A few weeks ago, my husband put a tarp over 1 side of the roof so people staying in it wouldn't get rained on while in bed.

I think I'm going to go to the fabric store. I need to get some new fabric to make tablecloths and pillows for the front porch. I am so ready to decorate for Christmas. Yes, you read that right.....I said Christmas.

I hope everyone has a nice holiday weekend! No big plans here, actually DH is working his weekend job tonight and tomorrow, so it'll be nice that he has Monday off. I'm really looking forward to curling up with a good book after DS goes to sleep tonight. I've got several from the library and it's so nice to have quiet and just read.

Mean Queen, I can't wait to see those BLT photos! And by BLT, I don't mean the sandwich. Does anyone else feel weird using that acronym?

Well, I just saw on Facebook where Mean Queen posted she's in the Magic Kingdom. Just a little jealous. She posted a couple of pictures from her phone of the girls in MK. We got up this morning and went to the beach. I'm sitting by this window overlooking the saltwater marsh. It's so pretty here. . .

Yes I do. But now I want a BLT. We are grilling filet of mignon tonight. My hubby is a grill master. Those thick little steaks are juicy and butter tender. Ummmmmm.....now my mouth is starting to water.
