Tables for Two?

Is it me or is there a severe shortage of tables for two? I have a reservation for Tutto on 11/16 at 2:30pm and wanted to get something maybe 30 minutes to an hour later....no availability. Yet when I put in 3 people, magically there is TONS of availability. Anyone else frustrated by this? Any tips on how to get around this?

Book the table for 3 .

It's a known issue/limitation of the ADR system. For some reason, at some locations, it doesn't recognize that parties of 2 may be sat at 4 tops and thus, limits those available slots. It's similar to the "odd number" issue where a party of 1 sees fewer slots than a party of 2 or a party of 3 sees fewer than a party of 4 (etc).

The only time this workaround wouldn't work, would be with full prepaid restaurants. Even the CC-guarantee ones are fine since they only charge if no one shows up (at least, for now...)

Urg! I noticed that too when i couldn't get a Chef Mickey's for two but could find one for three.....so i just booked it for three and called it good
