The BBC spend so much on them like the Daleks will want to get the most out of the budget.

News of the world has a funny write up re last nights show, saying if Dalek sec wants to repopulate the daleks in half human form the face might put off the ladies.

Plus there is a funny quote if he did get with a lady, based on ''exterminate'' but as these are family boards I will not type that word!!!!

The overnight ratings are in for Series Three Episode Four: Daleks in Manhattan.
3.4: Daleks in Manhattan achieved an overnight rating of 6.3m viewers, with a 34.9% audience share.
Doctor Who was the most watched programme for Saturday.

Overnight's have generally been 1 million lower than final figures.

Doctor Who Wins Again.

Yes that should keep it in that slot, the BBC is using DW to hook the viewers in so they stay with BBC1 for Joseph, as now they go head to head, with grease, so far BBC1 Joseph knocks Grease by 2:1, as long as that stays or gets better DW will stay in the 6.45pm slot.

OK, this is going to be a long one. Bear with me because 1/ I haven't read any of the spoilers and 2/ I was a little drunk last night when I wrote my notes

Generally, I enjoyed the episode as I always enjoy Doctor Who (except that weird Peter Kay episode!) but there was a lot I was not happy with.

Why was it not explained as to why Martha was still with the Doctor? Last week, he said one trip into the past, one into the future - surely some sort of explanation is warranted?

Did anyone think that the fighting bum at the beginning sounded (and looked like from the back) John Barrowman?! I was disappointed when it wasn't him.

If I knew that blob was a Dalek, why did the Doctor not?! OK, I had read the spoilers, but to be fair, I'm pretty sure I would have known it was a Dalek anyway.

I liked the LGBT reference, thought it was funny - however my hubby said "This isn't Torchwood, you know!"

Thought it was a little too Cybermen-ish that suddenly the Daleks want to turn humans into Daleks. Thought this showed a real lack of imagination.

Did anyone else think this Dalek/human hybrid was a poor replacement for Davros?

Why did the Daleks not recognise the Doctor? He was stood right behind Martha! OK, so a Dalek's peripheral vision might not be very good but the "last remaining Dalek" managed to figure out who Chris Eccleston was!

I think the past two series and current series are putting too much emphasis on Daleks. Historically, I am pretty sure each Doctor only battled the Daleks a couple of times. What's wrong with bringing back other monsters like, dare I say, the Sontarans?! Or, here's a crazy thought, introducing new ones!

Penultimate question, why does David Tennant have such good hair?! (I told you I was drunk when I wrote my notes!!)

Final question, anyone know when/if Confidential is repeated?

Just watched last week's Totally last night (the one following the New New York episode). Did anyone else see this? The scarecrow monster that Russell T Davies drew from a future episode looks well scary I hope this one doesn't haunt me as much as the clockwork monsters!!

I did! It pleases my Inner/Outer Child! That Scarecrow Ep is going to be cool. If not scary.

Here is a bit of Techie knowledge for you guys.

Think back to Last Year's Cybermen. On Rose's Phone, you know she gets the whole "Cybus Network Free Trial" thing? Weeeeellll Here is something that the DW production missed out on!

When the Video starts, the title of the phone says "Welcome.jpg". Now, I know that a Jpg is a Picture file, so what they did was cut and paste in a video clip they made later on.

Also, when the Downloader starts on her phone, you can see it says "49/52" on the top. It's an ablum of Various Screens saying "Download ____" on them, and she is just scrolling through them!!!!

Come on Doctor Who, you can do better than that!!!
