I didn't really care for it. It may be what I ordered though, a salad.

Pteradactyl Salad - Roasted chicken, mixed greens, celery, tomatoes, Bleu cheese crumbles, chopped egg and bacon. Tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

I asked for it w/out bacon, there was still bacon in it. The mixed greens were very, very small. It was shredded which is ok for the top of a burger or something, but annoying to eat in salad form. I grabbed one of DH's waffle fries though and it was very good! Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. There were 3 burgers, my salad, a chicken sandwich and fried shrimp.

The atmosphere is definitely cool though! I can see little boys LOVING it! It was also very loud though, almost impossible to have a conversation.

Well thats good, about the atmosphere! We will stay away from the salads.

You can make reservations. My son is 4 and loved the place. It's a must for any dinosaur fan!

We went in January and we loved it. It was DS7's favorite restaurant during our trip. The food was better than RFC we thought and the atmosphere, albeit loud, was very fun. We had a horrible waiter though - he started off doing really well but somehow got off track and forgot to place get our dinner order (we ordered an app first). I think he got off-track and thought we were done because he asked if we wanted our check - but we hadn't ordered yet! Then he tried to play it off as the kitchen's fault instead of just apologizing that he screwed up. Oh well! We had a great time anyway - definitely a must-see for any dinosaur fan.

We LOVED it! I think it is so amazing! My 5 year old was scared though, she hid under the table the whole time. The "meteor shower" thing really terrified her. My 4 year old loved it though! The food was also very good. I don't remember what DH got but I had lasagna and it was delicious and very filling.

Just ate there this past Sunday nite.

It was good, but as I'd read here on the DIS....expensive. The Nachos appetizer is $13.99. DD14 & I split that for dinner & between the two of us, we couldn't even finish it. It's huge!!

We had a 6pm dinner reservation & were seated around 6:10. After we placed our dinner order (three of us in my party), our food took about an hour to come out...and all we ordered were appetizers.

We are going to go back again this summer w/ DH & DS10. They didn't come with us because they were in the lounge at SSR watching the Superbowl.

dd3 was a lil freaked out but enjoyed it, but the food was not to good, 6 of us and no one cared to much for the meal. It is more about the atmosphere than perfecting the food, slightly better than rfc.

We went a few weeks ago and loved it!(DH, myself and our 2 kids ages 11 & 5) The atmosphere, food and service were all fantastic! It was one of our favorites during our whole trip. We will definitely go back.

Just wondering, how far in advance can you make a reservation. Is it the standard 90 days, & do you call just like any other ADR?

It's not. (We just ate there Sun. nite). They tell each family at the podium that they are NOT part of the Disney Dining Plan. (But if you are a DVC member, you can get 10% off each entree.)

We ate there a couple of weeks ago and loved it. We sat in the "ice" room right next to the "fire" room and we thought it was pretty neat.

We ate there in Nov. and enjoyed it. It is expensive though. The atmosphere is fun and we all liked it enough to visit again .....

We ate there last month and DS 11, 4 & 3 absolutely loved it. I had a different salad then the earlier poster and it was great! Matt Belle was our server and I would highly suggest requesting him. The service was awesome, every request was handled quickly and happily. Again, the boys loved it and that meant a great meal for the adults too!

I'm pretty sure that it has the same menu as Rainforest Cafe (a place I know quite well ;D--I know they're owned by the same company and I think the dishes are the same with different names).

That said, my advice is to go in and get whatever huge chocolate cake they have. Nothing else. It'll cost you $15 but, if it's anything like the Volcano! at RC (it sounds like it is, too), it will feed six people easily and be 0.0 amazing d:
