T-rex gift shop and Paleo Zone?

Looking at the description on Disney, it sounds like my kids would love the Paleo Zone and gift shop at t-rex. However, my kids are terrified of Rainforest Cafe (too loud), so I didn't think eating at t-rex would be any better.

Can you go explore the dino area and gift shop without eating there? I've never seen the place, so I have no idea of the layout. Thanks!

You can easily access the gift shop without eating at T-Rex, but it is still inside the building. So the sounds from the dinosaurs can still be heard.

Absolutely. I didn't think the noises were anything close to Rainforest Cafe. It was truly out of this world.
