Swap Question

Could you please explain how the swap thing works? I read the thread, but I'm still kind of confused. Each person makes a number of the same embellishment and sends them to Grover who then distributes them? Is that right? It sounds fun, but I wanted to make sure I understood what is going on. Thanks!

Sounds about right. But it doesn't have to be Grover she has hosted 3 swaps that I know of so far.
here is my version of a swap, granted I am no expert...LOL!
role of the Host: picks theme, number of scrappers rec's all items, choices dead line date and then swaps it out
participants:
provides all mailing material including: cardboard prevent bending, postage( with Grover we provide money and she returns the unused change), return envelope, filled out with your address and the host with do not bend on it
makes the required number and place in individual bags/envelope (if using envelope write what it is on the out side.) I usually pop a few stickers or something like that in as a thank you
mail it out by the dead line date
does that make sense?
It is a lot of fun!

This has been my first experience at scrap swapping. It has been fun making my contribution and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of all the page elements that have been made by the other participants.

I think it was grover that posted a link to a site that explained how to conduct and participate in a swap. I was going to find it for you but the search seems to be not working at the moment.

Sondra-you got the jist of it down!! There is a thread on here somewhere!! --called Swap etiquette I think! I borrowed it off of another site as it seemed to explain everything!

I'd really love to participate in one too. My sister does scrapping swaps all the time and has gotten a lot of cute punches and embellishments from them.
