Wow, I get to act like a newbie all over again! This is great! :goodvibes

I have a question about the Swan. My husband is going to Orlando on a business trip, and we are using his Sheraton points to stay two nights at the Swan.

We have a standard room reserved. Nothing special or fancy.

Can you see Illuminations from the Swan or anywhere on the Boardwalk? ...and what about Fantasmic...any part of that show?

I guess I have one other quick question--what can you tell me about this resort? Like? Dislike? Thanks! :thumbsup2

Depending on your room location or your position on the Boardwalk, you may see *some* of Illuminations. Much of the show occurs low over the lagoon and is not visible from outside EPCOT. The pyrotechnics that shoot up into the sky would be what you might see.

Not sure about Fantasmic, but I would doubt you would be able to see much at all.

From our standard view room at the Swan, we looked out at the Dolphin. You can walk to the BW area (out the back door to the Swan, turn right, then right over to bridge area facing the lake close to the dueling pianos sign) to see the fireworks from Epcot.

We enjoyed staying at the Swan. The beds are so comfortable that we had trouble getting DS and DD up in the mornings!! We also loved walking to the BW for all the night activities. The concierge staff was great! They were very helpful.
