Swan/Dolphin

Am planning a trip either next spring for the Flower & Garden show or in October for MNSSHP and have enough SPG points to stay for 6 days for free. I have never stayed at either of these hotels before and have several questions.

1. Which hotel is better for just adults?

2. Are these hotels part of Disney's Magical Express? If not, does the hotels offer transportation from the airport? If not, is Mears still available to use?

3. How are the rooms? If you are using SPG points, is it just for a standard view (parking lot) or do they give you other views.

4. Can you add the Disney Dining Plan here?

5. Are these resorts able to participate in the AM or PM EMH's?

6. Which is a better time to go?

7. How is the service here? Do you miss the Disney feeling?

8. Do they have their own transportation to the parks or do they share with Disney transportation?

I only stayed at the Dolphin once, and it was a long time ago. I do remember that our room had a really great view of Epcot. And the grotto pool area was really nice. (The Swan has a normal old rectangular pool.) Also, the Dolphin's remodel was more recent than the Swan's, and the lobby is nicer. Neither resort is eligible for ME, but there are other shuttle services for hire.

boy just answer some of this

1) Swan I think has queen beds, Dolphin has full beds - but think that most of the restuarants are at Dolphin

swan still wins - like bigger beds

2) no DME - but definitely Mears shuttle

4)didn't think so - but someone say they had.

5)yes they definitely participate in EMH

6) October - then you get not only MNSSHP but food/wine festavial. even if you don't drink the food/wine is worth going to for the food.

that say if you are there for the music - definitely like flower/garden better for the music.

7) don't know

8)they share with BW most of the time - sometimes they also share with BC, YC and BW - just depends upon the time of day.

early morning just BW - late evening just BW or no sharing

in the afternoon - probably will be sharing with all the Epcot resorts.

BTW, S/D guests can participate in all EMH.
