i'm here...i posted an update on the surgery thread...he's doing better. well, as of last night anyway. haven't talked to mom yet today. he was still confused a bit last night, but hopefully it will stop so that he can go home. i'm only praying that this was enough to scare him...he's been a smoker for years and years. he has bad eating habits. doesn't exercise. he hasn't had a cigarette now since friday. mom's cleaning out the house of all cigarettes and bad food before he comes home. my sister's still there to help her too...

one good thing came out of this weekend...i got to eat at 3 of my favorite restaurants! it sucks too cuz they're only in ft wayne...i got my favorite mexican restaurant...carlos o'kelleys. then my favorite chinese restaurant, the mandarin...and then my favorite italian restaurant, casa's. casa's is a local chain to ft wayne. they have the BEST salads...we picked up 2 salads and one of the wood fired pizzas and took it home. it was wonderful...and i got my chinese food. they do the awesome lunch special there. you get your main dish, fried rice, soup, an egg roll, a crab rangoon, a chicken wing (in a really sweet sauce), a cucumber salad, and your drink for $5.00! i used to eat there several times a week when i lived up there. there was a mandarin right next to my office. and then my favorite mexican restaurant...they have the BEST chips and salsa...and then the fajita cheese crisp. heaven.
the chiefs let me down...but it looks like our colts are on their way to play your pats! GO COLTS!!

Guess she made it or I'd have had a nother call by now. Sigh.
DD is getting over a nasty sinus infection too so I'm used to it
