dad's doing fine. driving mom insane, but that's normal! :p i guess he's been doing great about no cigarettes...he's only mentioned it twice in the last week...

my head is killing me this morning.

i was trying for the life of me to figure out how to get matthew and me to las vegas at the end of march. that would be the only way for me to get to see clay in concert this tour, since he's not coming to indy. but i just can't do it...:( guess i'll just have to keep focus on our november WDW trip instead!

Did you guys know that Debbie is a spoiled rotten brat?
(I guess you also know I'm saying that because I am jealous ;) )

 :sunny: :hyper:

Debbie...MissionSpace ride is awesome!

We went for the passsholder thingie, first weekend in August.
All we did was ride that ride ONLY!
Stayed at YC and only went to MP for four days straight!
No dodo!

DS' rode over 30 times, which was NOT the record that weekend.

BTW.....we've got some of those limited edition pins, that were sold out by Sat.:cool1:

the first time i rode, I had to be "helped" out of the cabin thingie.
I looked at the CM, and askws him if anyone has thrown uo, and he looked at me and shook his head yes!

Didn't loose my cookies though!:teeth:

It feels like a big time centrificu (sp) force that makes you feel like you're getting a "face lift" in the middle of it!::yes::

BT please tell me you don't spin on that ride  Is it worse than RnR?? You know I don't care...I WILL ride....even if I have to go ly down for the rest of the day

But when I got up this morning...I started thinking about how i have to leave Ruben for 9 whole days :( I know my neice will keep him and he is very attached to them as well but he will wonder where we are and ....and.....and......and
I'M GOING TO MISS HIM :(

Does anyone else feel that way about their pet or am I just weird?????

:scratchin I don't know if I want you to answer that

farm while we went to Disney......I cried all the way home ......it was like forever to us.......she was some happy doggie when we went to pick her up......she peed all over their floor......she was that happy.....she has been gone now for almost two years and yes we still miss her.....

I'm sorry Marie
We used to have a Shepard that we dearly miss today

my baby Ruben...he sits on my lap every morning while I drink my coffee and he sits on Jerry's lap every night while we watch TV....what will he do for 9 whole days??? ....he's sitting on my lap right now as I type... :(

well I have a VERY clean desk right now.....clutter free....I was feeling ambitious.... so i.....
OK I lied  I just spilled my coffee all over the place and the fact that Ruben was sitting on my lap had nothing to do with it...he is not to blame.....I am....in fact he is a little sticky himself...
BUT at least Noooooow I have a nice clean desk :teeth:
and none got on my keyboard...thank goodness

btw, have any of you ever spilled anything on your floppies...dried them off and then used them  I was just wondering
darn it...all my pics from my old puter are on those

Debbie...you are just weird!! Sorry couldn't resist.
Actually, I would worry about and miss the cats if we took them to board at the vet when we went on vacation. WE now only have one cat, so we bought the water and food dishes that hold about a weeks worth of both . SO now we just leave her home and have someone (usually my stepdaughter) come over every couple of days and scoop out the litterbox and say hello, and check the food/water dishes. Kitty's usually a little mouthy when we get home ("where have you people BEEN!" with a flick of the tail) then punishes us by not wanting to be patted for a few hours, then all is well ;) I can understand you missing Ruben but I bet he will be fine with your niece.

Sorry about Jasmine pumba. :( ...we still miss our first cat Rocky (aka the-cat-from-hell). He was a mean old tomcat, had been abused before we took him from the SPCA, but became a part of the family the way a pet does, with their distinctive personalities.

Gotta go make the dip to take to Avery's house for the big game...also want to go buy some new towels before we go.....so have a nice day everyone!!
GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

man....it ain't lookin' too good for the colts right now, is it? hopefully that gets their heads out of, well, the lower most region of their torso, and PLAY football! lol

i know how you feel about missing your pets when you're on vacation. when i had my dalmatians, i would miss them when i was gone for 8 hours! i miss my doggies...we're looking at getting a doggie soon though. there's a lab rescue out in this area that we are looking at...i miss having doggies around!

mom and dad just left...they brought my sister down. she flies home tonight...so they came down and i made a big lunch for us.

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?????? (sorry to interrupt...how the hell did he lose that ball??)

ok, so anyway...we had lunch...i can tell that dad's doing much better. he was onry as all get out too. raiding my cabinets for something to munch on...my cabinets are full of stuff he can't have now...they found some whole wheat ritz crackers for him. so he had something to hold him over til lunch was ready. he's being a little brat about cutting down on the salt intake...he was mad cuz he couldn't have any more gravy and then we wouldn't give him the salt shaker...lol...

man..look at that snow on tony dungy's hat...lol...our colts aren't used to playing outside! lol

pretty good first half...i'd say ::yes::

sorry Brandie....but glad to hear Dad is doing OK

Good second half too ;) :teeth: GO PATRIOTS!!! We're going to the PP bowl!! Yes I said PP....Pats/Panthers ;) actually DD said it first so blame the toilet humor on her...or Debbie...Debbie was talking about Ruben poopy problems the otehr day.....

Speaking of Ruben, did you see the real Ruben (he-who-Debbie's-dog-is-named-after) sing the Star Spangled Banner?? Very nice!

And speaking of Ruben (Debbie's dog)...Debbie - I had an idea...you could take Ruben to WDW in April...take the RV. Park it in the lemonade stand parking lot hehehehehe or over at Ft Wilderness!!

Are you guys sleeping in again???
nah...i kept getting distracted while i was trying to find this thread!! :o

morning :wave2:

DH made me laugh this morning...we got up and got ready for work, as normal...dropped him off and i went to work, as normal. about 15 minutes after i got to work, he calls me...his office was closed for the holiday!! :p he had forgotten...but when he checked his outlook/e-mail, he had a message on there that he would be out of the office today... so i went and picked him up, dropped me off at work, and then he went home...lucky duck.

all this ruben talk...sheesh...CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY CLAY

Yes TC...I sure slept late this morning!!! Buried my head under the covers when I heard DH getting up around 6:15 and heading to work 1/2 hour later.....and I didn't surface for nearly two more hours :teeth: And it felt GOOD too!!!
So glad I didn't do what Brandie's DH did  ;)

hello ladies and gents and Bob's and LURKERS

yes I slept in this morning...same as Ann....DH got up at 6ish and I buried my head and then he left 1/2 hour later and I slept till 8:30 and YES it did feel good ::yes::

Then I washed the floor ...did laundry...made spaghetti sauce and meatballs...took Justin to practice....and much more...so I just never made it here.

I still have to take Ruben to the vet and
tonight watch the the NEW American Idol

Ann are you really going to the PP bowl Or did you mean pee pee bowl ....and don't blame me...although if you hadn't said it...I would have thought of it :D
I really enjoyed that game last night....Jerry called me a madwoman  and I don't even usually like football

Oh no I'm not REALLY going to Houston, I was just "releasing my emotions" as we used to say....meant "we" as in the Patriots, my team ;)

I wish I was as productive as you were Debbie -- I did one load of wash, balanced my checkbook, and sort of stared some more at all the work DH did on our taxes so that I can do DD's FAFSA and CSS Profile paperwork for the colleges. Don't know why I'm bothering, we won't get a dime if she goes to UNH anyway. Oh and I had my teeth cleaned. I SHOULD have washed the floors and cleaned the bathrooms.
