i HATED my job yesterday. i baked 11 dozen freaking cookies!!! that's all i did all day...bake cookies. i don't ever wanna see another cookie again as long as i live! (and i do mean the edible kind...not our very own beloved cookiegvb, of course!)

hey....it's Friday!!

SO they are telling us at work that we are being assigned mandatory OT hours in the next 5-6 months...not "flex-timing" the normal number of hours and working later - but working more hours per week at the conclusion of the normal work day and or/weekends.....and ALSO announcing that there is no more money budgeted this fiscal year (ending 6/30/03) for OT pay...so OT worked you get "comp time" 1 1/2 hours for each hour worked over 40/week. But....the workload is so huge overall, and we have a demand for services after the normal business day...so that you can't do just flex time to work later you also have to work more hours....so tell me, what good is com time if you can't use it becasue you have to work so much to keep up with demand for services????????? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I took this darn job for low pay but a reasonable work week and good benefits. Darn I need a winning lottery ticket and soon!!!

So...thanks for letting me vent...at least my anger kept me warm today
How was everyone's Friday???

It is FIVE freezin' degrees BELOW zero right now...the thermometer in my car said ONE degree above at mid-day when I went out for a sandwich...the warmest time on a sunny day and it was ONE degree :eek!!!!

It was so cold here today.....my fingers were damp and they stuck to the outside door knob....not hard mind ya ......but you knew that they were going to stick feeling......it didnt get above 0 ......I hate winter....always have and always will
