well...i'm back! you guys had quite the posting party while i was away!

i had a nice post all typed out but for some reason, it doesn't want to post it! ARGH!!!

anywho...we had a great weekend. i think i've seen what i look like when i'm at WDW...my DH looked like a kid in a candy store at the game on sunday! it was great to watch him having so much fun getting into the game. i'm good for football until after half time. then i'm done and ready to go. but the horrific 9 hour drive was worth it just to see him having so much fun! we got a little sunburned, but we'll survive!

so tired today...

Hi Brandie!! Glad you had fun watching DH have fun!!

No the durn thing is not fixed. When I called to ask if my CD was ready, she said they "didn't have one" (I'm assuming the driver not a CD , and I should just do it through Windows choosing a "close" model # and indicate that I don't have a disk. WHen I told her I tried it that way, (and any other way I could think of or anyone suggested) and still got the problem messages, she said I'd have to bring the puter back in for a look. So I said nah.methinks I will take a ride to BestBuy tonight

Oh my, to think that I spent probably 6 or 7 hours or so out of that beautiful (weather)weekend sitting at this keyboard messing with the printer.....

and tonight it took a TOTAL of about 45 minutes to go to Best Buy, buy the printer (well, DH paid ) and USB cable (total $100.98), come home, hook it up and print a pretty butterfly test page.

DD is happy. I'm tired but happy.

My work day has kept me so busy.....many changes going on... In a few weeks I should be set to a regular schedule and maybe i can find more time to get here.

glad to see that your puter is all better now ann! i hate going in to best buy. i always end up leaving with something that DH just "can't live without"...

well...one year ago today, i married my soulmate! one year ago today, i was at WDW...wish i could be there now to celebrate!! i'm not sure what we are doing tonight. i think that we're just going to make a nice dinner and get tipsy on a bottle of "our" wine. i LOVE kendall jackson chardonnay. matthew and i had a bottle of it when we spent our first weekend together after being apart 10 years. we usually have a bottle for special occasions now.

ok...gotta go and think of something clever for DH for our anniversary. no gift exchange this year...saving for the house!

I should have written them down on an itinerary, but this past trip was much more casual, with only ONE PS made before we got there - for Boma's! Next time...

Yesterday was rough, trying to even access the DIS - I guess I should be happy I'm allowed to post today at all.

Hope you have a great anniversary.......hubby and I have been married 36 years and we do not exchange gifts for these things.....we do have special surprises.....like today is whats his names birthday and I made him a special supper.......he is out with a friend gathering info on a good hunting spot for us to go to .....isn't he so wonderful Now every once in a while he does do something special.....like getting airline tickets for a certain place that we all have come to love .....ROFL.....so he is in the planning mode again......he does have this thing for getting me jewelry ......I am not into jewelry ....oh well....

already I am in a hurry

yesterday was busy too....went from work to a soccer game to picking up senior picture proofs to open house at school......not a spare minute to be had
oh but the pictures are beautiful!!! I just have to have them all!!!!! Mike is so handsome in them...I wish I knew how to post them !!
I'm off now....new baby will be here in 5 minutes!!

thanks for the anniversary wishes everyone! we spent a nice quiet evening at home...matthew made me dinner...we drank our wine...finished listening to the 4th harry potter book on CD...watched our wedding video...looked at our wedding and honeymoon pictures...and went to bed. we are both still so exhausted from the weekend...

on this day, 2 years ago, my life had been turned upside down. i was in an unhappy marriage...i knew what i wanted to do, but was afraid to do it. when the events of sept 11 unfolded, i began to see just how precious life is. i realized that i needed to do what would make ME happy. 9-11 gave me the courage to do what i needed to do. i was soon reunited with the love of my life. and i have never been happier.

i am still saddened by the loss of life that day. but something good did come from this tragedy...it brought americans TOGETHER. we are stronger as a nation...

i thank god for the friends that i have in my life. and that includes you guys...thanks for welcoming me into your group! someday i will meet you all in PERSON!! {{{{{hugs}}}}} to all...

god bless america and those who have lost their lives defending our freedom...

How's everyone tonight?

I have to head out to DD's school for "Back to School" night. I'm a bit surprised that they scheduled for this particular date. I know "life goes on" but I'd really like to just be home tonight with my family (and maybe DIS with my friends a little too ) and I know I'm not the only parent who feels this way. But I'll let others do the complaining, I don't have the emotional enegy to sweat it.

I'm sure when I get home, DD will be on here for homework/IM, so if I don't get back on tonight here's more ((hugs)) for you all!!!
