first of all.......waiting patiently for my hot rice cracker order.......sent it out and I know it takes a few weeks......so bear with me......I do have a good assortment of different red tootsie roll pops.....

Kaitlynn ......our granddaughter ......did her first soccer game last night as a goalie......they had no freshmen goalies and she volunteered....she had only 5 practices to achieve this and they lost their first game last night........not bad though.....2-1.....she was of course blaming herself.......she vegged when she got home my dd said.....poor kid........
she has another practice today......five days a week .....

WOO HOO!!!!! IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in case you didn't already know

i am so glad this week flew right by! the anticipation for this weekend was just killing me! matthew's all excited though...he's got his favorite restaurants all picked out. we've got the KC chiefs hat in the car...cuz you know...he can't look like a tourist! that made me giggle when he said that...the car's all packed up...now to just sit and wait til 3pm.

SSB had better not disappear when i'm in town next year! i've been looking forward to meeting him!!! and he's got a whole year at least to plan his vacations around my travel dates!

i think that i'm about to my own double digit dance for my house too! just a few more days to go...meanwhile...you'll find me doing the thank god it's friday dance...

Gee, I hope Brandie has a nice week-end. Sounds like fun, if you're into football (which I'm not really), but, just getting away for the week-end and doing something different sounds like fun.
More fun than my week-end---working. ***BIG SIGH***

The weather here is supposed to be great this week-end (after all of that rain last week-end), so, at least I get off at 3:00, so, can still enjoy the afternoon.

It scares me that we're getting fall weather already. I hope that doesn't mean an early winter. I hate winter. I hate being cold.

Hope Pumba's rice crackers come soon. Altho, the red tootsie roll pops sound pretty good, too...

Ann and Debbie certainly are not the talkative people they used to be. I bet they haven't even had a good ole posting party in forever! And I really bet neither of them have been to chat in years (neither have I).

Guess that all I have to say to myself for now, but, I will return....

no we haven't had a posting party in awhile. We were all sad when you left and it just wasn't fun anymore.

I'm just telling you this cuz she doesn't have a puter to come here and read this

Anyway I don't like football either but I would love to get away for the weekend....oh yea I just did last weekend ....it was so short I forgot well I'd like to get away again...I just like to get away from normal things...you know what I mean....and yes Sue...I AM normal....I guess I should say regular things.

I too, prefer tootsie pops and we have nice weather this weekend too and I don't know about rice crackers..I forgot to try them while I was there...lets see what did I forget?

oh yes ....fall.....i do like fall....it can be pretty.....but it does mean that winter will follow and I don't like winter....its too cold and waaaaay too long and I get tired of being shut in...although I do like winter during the Christmas season...but thats all....then it can go away

I guess I really didn't know that red tootsie pops are different flavors...I just know I like red. I'm that way with Kool-Aid, too. Doesn't matter which flavor red it is, as long as it's red, I like it ('cept for Watermelon Kool-Aid....I like watermelons to eat--not drink).

Debbie--sorry about getting you all depressed and sad. Maybe we'll just have a nice, long, mild, autumn.

That's when I want to get away---an autumn week-end. Go up into the mountains and leaf-watch. I have enough Starwoods points to do just that...but, there's no Starwood hotels in the mountains. Bummer.

Pumba--I'll have to try to remember the rice crackers in Japan. Not the wine tho--I don't like any kind of wine.

I'm BACK NOW!!!

We had a virus and the only way to fix it was reformat the puter....all programs have to be reinstalled...they saved my "documents" but not my programs. Since I don't speak "computer" I had no idea what this meant til I got it sort of hooked back up tonight and all my e-mail, carefully sorted into folders for the last FIVE YEARS is gone forever into cyberspace. All the family stuff since my mother had her aneuysm/stroke/brain surgery (which was someday going to be the basis for my bestseller) is gone. My address book is gone. They put Microsoft Office back on but I have to somehow reinstall printer drivers or sumpin', and some programs like MS Money we had before we upd\graded 18 months ago I have to put back on with the disks or sumpin'- becasue we have some financial records on there (and a back up floppy fortunately) but there's a ton of stuff...gone. I'm so bummed about the e-mails. The old monitor (we got a new one becasue the old one was not working great, from old age not a virus) but teh old one had speakers on the sides, this one doesn't, so DH took them off the old, hooked them to this but there's one loose connector which goes into the PUTER that we can't figure where to plug in......aaargh!

I love the mountains in the fall too....one fall we drove up to the white mountains....oh the traffic was terrible...we swore never again...it was Columbus day weekend...took us 6 hours to drive what usually takes four ....oh but I do love it up there and I do love the colored leaves

how the heck do you reinstall a printer driver?
I'm going to cry any minute now
I follow the steps and it says the printer won't respond tot eh software. Why isn't DD here doing this? SHE's teh one who needs the darn printer to print homework. I don't need a printer to DIS!
