Prodigal SSB is still alive and kickin'.... just been on travels, and such. Week in Charlotte for work, then VA for weekend.

Ann up North with DD for wedding of sister, so SSB has the boys for a four day weekend. We are having a major X-Box battle right now... haha! Might do a park tomorrow after baseball try outs, if the weather cooperates for one or both, hopefully.

Hope that all have been doing well, and shall try to check in more often!!!!!!

:) :) :)

well lookie lookie who's here :bounce:

is it really Bob

and shall try to check in more often!!!!!!
correction...WILL check in more often!!

no big boomers here.....we missed them......that means I dragged things in and put them away for nuttin.......what a waste of time

I'm afraid to ask what this means. I do hope it helps to have big feet. ;) :p
Please DO check in more often :)

Now Sue.....you KNOW I am always kind. Sometimes gently tease, but always kindly ;) That Debbie, she is always trying to make me look bad!! See, she thinks it will make her look better if she makes me look bad.
Anyway...I really enjoyed SeaBiscuit. So did DD and her friends and her friends' younger siblings. It was a little "choppy" at the start but once it got going, it was really well done. I was going to say that a couple of parts might be a little bit much for the pre-teen crowd, but hey, it's mild compared to anythign you'd see in a Jason/Freddie thing.
I did have the same "sticker shock" as pumba at the theatre though.

No boomers here today, though it did get pretty ominous looking late afternoon/early evening . They hit areas to the south, the east and the west ...but left us alone...very hot and sticky still!!

Tomorrow is Mady's one year birthday party (her birthday was actually Monday) Here is DD and Mady the day after Delaney was born :teeth: great smiles huh??

they are both beautiful.......and I love the name.....will definitely put it in a booklet to remember when son and daughter in law try again.......give those babies a hug

Awww...how cute, she is!!!

Major thunder boomers here this afternoon. Did help take care of the hot and sticky's for a while, though.

We had a confrontation with the boys' dad this afternoon. I know we are going to end up back in court over his visitation. I really do hate those people....That sounds so harsh. SO ugly. But, it's so true...

Bob!!!! So good to see you , again. Of course, this page will be long gone before you ever check back in, so you'll never know that I was nice to you.

HOpe you are all having a good night...and I hope you enjoy your week-end...even if one of us has to work.....

Great smiles for sure, Ann!!!!! And SSB stopped by? Neat. I thought I would too.

Hi Dan, nice to see you here!! You may end up iwth more posts on this thread than SSB ;) ;) :teeth:

Sue....as to the harshness and ugliness , I empathize totally, knowing those feelings all too well....toward my niece's ex for what she did to my niece and unfortunately, all too recently, my own ex for his treatment of my DD. :(
Interesting side note to that ...when I last spoke to my ex a couple of weeks ago, he indicated that I would not be seeing another "effing" dime of child support...and a check came in the mail yesterday....his wife writes the checks...I guess he neglected to tell her that I wasn't to get any more ;) ...or wait...it could be that she is a whole lot smarter than he is!!

It's an absolutely beautiful day here...we're off to Madyson's birthday party...unfortunately I cannot go "topless" because I have the bunch of balloons for decoration and I don't think they'd make it in the convertible........;)

and indeed we did :teeth:

This was the biggest first b-day party I have ever attended. There had to be 50 or more adults/teens and at least a dozen kids ranging from 2 weeks to 12 years. Got Mady this neat tricycle with a removable push handle, molded plastic seat with a back and a safety strap, and a dump-truck sort of bucket thingie behind the seat. Outrageously expensive at some online catalog thing. But what was her favorite gift of all the multitude of things that all these people brought her? The hot pink plastic Minnie Mouse cell phone I picked up at TDS for about $5 awhile back (she loves toy phones), I tossed it in the basket of the trike. When you press the buttons some just make cells phone beeps but others trigger Minnie's voice saying several phrases like "Mickie and I are going to a party tonight!! Do you want to come?" She was interested in nothing else after getting that. Well, except maybe the "Hokey Pokey Elmo" that Avery and Delaney gave her ;) She looked bee-yoo-ti-ful in her pink "princess" dress I got her at WDW in June :teeth:

I've got one BIIIIIG deck  Jerry and I both staining all day and we're 2/3's done. I ache and hurt all over. Why didn't one of you guys come help me...oh well make me sumpin to eat now...I'm hungry ;)

Beautul pictures Ann and it sounds like a wonderful party.

I'm so glad my X dropped out of the picture....everyone is much better off this way. PD to those of you who have to deal with them.

Hello Dan....nice to see you here

The weather is sooooo beautiful today!!!

and now I am so hungry I have to go eat something...see you later!!!

Guess who I spoke to last night (Fri night)????

I will give you a hint.......this person is at the Dolphin!!

Yep, I talked to Gail last night. She is having a good time despite all the rain. I am heading over there tomorrow (Sunday) to spend a few hours in a park with her and the boys! I will tell her you all say hi.

Have a good day!!

too....at the ocean and it was gorgeous...we had a huge group and that was only part of the family......my brother in law got like twenty or so bottles of different types of brandys......we got him napolean brandy from france.....we even managed to get a baby bottle nipple to stretch on top of the bottle....it was a riot......had an interesting type to sip on .....butterscotch brandy......and then I tried a bottle of raspberry daiquary....now that was good.....didnt' put me on my butt either.....hahaha...
only had to have one incident and one cop came.....and small little Maine town cops .....and my nephew is a new york sergeant in a police force .....
he sort of minded his own business......but we were close to 50 people and the cop was one...probably thought us oldsters and little people would get him
Hope you are having a great time Gail......be good

now pumba how can Gail have a great time if she's being good? ;)

good morning everyone and thanks Christine for etting us know you heard from Gail and that she's having a good time

so it seems most of us were partying yesterday while i was working my butt off :p
that baby bottle thingie must have been a riot pumba :teeth:

have a good day...I'm back to staining some more

so it seems most of us were partying yesterday while i was working my butt off

Not I. Remember me??? The one who had to work this week-edn?

Had to work today. but, census was low, so, got off at 12:00. YAY!! Cause the weather is beautiful here and I am about to go topless!!!

not staining the deck afterall today....seems yesterday's stain is still a bit sticky and we like to have one of our back doors available for use so the rest has to wait. So I'm sort of just relaxing today :)

I did think of you Sue when I wrote that....thats why I said "most of us"

My son Jason just called me from WDW....ahhhh I wish I was there :(

The weather is beautiful here too...wish I could go topless ;)

Hi everyone, just back from my day at Ecpot with Gail and the boys. It was sunny and warm all day - no rain though.

We had a nice time and I enjoyed hanging out with them. We went through Ice Station Cool and Devon dared me to drink Beverly. YUCK!! I told him if you (Devon) try it then I will (I had never tried before and never planned on it). I really did not think that he would - just my lcuk though - he DID!! So I had to stick to what I said. KIDS! lol. Brendan drink a full cup of it - the boy is crazy!

So she is heading home on Tuesday so we will see her soon!

Have a nice week everyone. :)

Hi everyone! Glad Gail and Jason are havng fun at WDW :teeth:

I drove down to see my parents today, DH came too....we had ice cream and/or lunch ......got home by mid afternoon then did a back to school shopping trip w/DD. We did not go thopless thoug...I wanted to , btu all my passengers all day were "wusses". Too breezy they say
Then dinner and some laundry and we're watching the US(FL) team lose the LL WS right now (9-0) . Classy kids though...they hi-5'd the Japanese pitcher who has struck them out all night as he rounded the bases after hitting a home run!

Tomorrow taking DD and a friend down to Stonehill College, 20 miles south of Boston. I dont' know about in your neighborshoods, but havce you seen the price of gasoline this weekend??

naturally the place closest to us was 1.69.........this is so stupid....just asked snuggles how much gas was in Georgia....and hers is 1.50

I filled up at $1.71 here in Concord this morning....it was $1.75 and higher down in Framingham Mass area  ....funny though, when we got back into Concord this afternoon it had dropped to $1.67..
Methinks that they gouge the weekenders in NH

Gas prices?? Oh, man..... One week ago, it was 1.41/gallon. Then, Monday, it went up to 1.66 and now is 1.76.

Armed robbery without a weapon.....
