has been a long long day.....all that shopping and I got two boxes of chocolate covered cherries.....my favorite thing.....we did eat at Applebees and had a nice visit.....went by the way with my daughter and my daughter in law.......had a nice time......I wish I was visiting the lemonade stand too and seeing all of the old lemonade drinkers......what a time we could have......is the weather nice there or are you freezing like I was when we were there last year .......hope not.......our son got a deer today......a big big doe and it will be a nice one for snacking on all winter........we had a great day yesterday and enjoyed as always the family and the dogs.....clutch the rotti and gretchen the german short haired pointer that was visiting......I love pets......Otis the beta didn't seem to mind the attention given to the dogs.......hahaha.......see you all tomorrow

yesterday in between the food I was preparing......I saw the Macys parade on tv and that guy with the mud.......you know...CLAY ....he sang a song and if I didnt' look straight on ......he gave me goosebumps....but he is a kid.......can't be more then 18......sort of creepy for us to get all goosebumpy for a kid.....but he did sing that song ......made me almost sniffle......do you remember what it was....

Hey pumba---I happened to see he-who-is-named-after-mud sing in the parade too....I DO remember I liked the song but I kept trying to figure out what, besides the pleasant voice, is the attraction? hehehehehe anyway,...was it Chestnuts Roasting by the Open Fire that he sang?? can't rmember...was too busy giggling at DH asking "what the heck did he do to his hair all spiked up in front" LOL

As for my wild tale of last Saturday night.....my son got some updated info on the situation....they were not kids as in children....they were about 21-22. My son didn't know this until later in the week.....but the two that were hit...a guy and a girl....they had just come from the same club my son was at and they had just been talking to some friends that were with my son in the club. The girl died and the guy is still critical.

yesterday my son got his deer........then this morning at eight am ...our 14 year old granddaughter .kaitlynn got an 8 point buck.....she is thrilled and so are we.......this is at the butchers now and NO it is not on our kitchen counter.......have a good weekend everyone

hey everyone!

i've been hibernating...

we did some packing this weekend...nothing significant. but we did get rid of our nasty furniture!! yay!!! but now i'm sitting on an uncomfortable futon.

and even though we're moving in just a few short weeks, i made hubby put up the tree. i just couldn't wait to put it up when we got into the house. this way...i'll just pull the ornaments off and we'll move the tree, lights and all, right to the house. then i'll put the ornaments back on!

hey guess what?! we're under a year now for our trip to WDW!!!! woo hoo!!!
