Flew down on 9/26 and I checked us in online exactly at the 24 hr. mark. Got seats A16, A17, and A18. Used Early Bird Check In on our flight home on10/1 and got seats A17, A18, and A19.
So for us, one was a good as the other. I did appreciate EBCI though, as we were in Epcot and it saved me from having to go to Guest Services (I don't have a mobile with that capability.)
