I'm aggravated!!!!Why didn't they do as advertised and and open it up by now? Are they short on planes due to maintenance issues? Do they intend to hike fares before they open them up? Are they making major schedule changes? Ughhhh!!!!!

I know this can be frustrating and I don't understand why they simply don't state what time the flights will be available to view, but this is typical of SWA.

Your post made me giggle! Try to take a deep breath (and maybe a shot or two). I am sure the flights will be up soon.

I am waiting also. Though I am waiting for Pit to Disneyland - late Aug. Not hopeful they will be cheap. Just hoping to buy one way there. Then when those flights go down in price use the difference towards way home. Works like a charm for WDW trips. Here's keeping my fingers crossed!

I don't remember getting a DING before for new flight release I only seem to get it when they have a one day sale for just my home airports

Finally able to book my flights for August

Really nothing spectacular out there for me. We fly out of Providence and the flights are still around $300 R/T ..not bad, but not good enough to make me bite. I think I'll wait it out and try to catch a Ding.

We did ok, our flight down was 89.00 pp. Our flight home was 135.00 pp. I could live with these prices especially when I hear what other people are quoting. We had rapid rewards this year so we really lucked out. Using our points, we only paid the 2.50 fee pp and we were short some points but they allow you to purchase extra points which was cheaper than purchasing a one way flight. All in all, I am happy this year. Now last year, not so happy!

89 pp one way is awesome. We fly out of Providence as well and I ended up having to tweak our vacation by a day on each leg of the trip in order to get 139 ea way...not as good as I had hoped but better than Jet Blue is charging to go out of Boston.

I would have done the same thing. Last year we had to tweak our vacation by a day but it was worth it. I don't normally check Jet Blue as they fly out of JFK and for us the distance is not worth it. So right now, our only choice is SWA. There had been talk about Jet Blue coming to Islip, but so far nothing. I thought maybe this would be great competition. Maybe next year.
