I just booked $79 fares for my trip in June for that coveted 7:30 AM direct flight from Bradley! When I'm in that leather seat on my way to WDW, I'll think of you kmermaid!!

Now I have to be on the lookout for when they open up the rest of June so I can book our return flight.

I looked for flights out of Albany to Ny and there is only one nonstop coming up available...all others are sold out????? could this be true or do they put in flight plans later?

I was looking for our return flight from MCO to PVD on 4/23/05 to open. I checked several times this morning and nothing was out and then didn't check again until noon. Most of the flights were not available at all. I was going to book an 11:00 flight and then decided to sign up for their Rapid Rewards club. 2 minutes later when I came back to actually book the tickets, the 11:00 flight was gone but the 2:00 flight opened up. I am paying $149 at this point, but am hoping some of the cheaper flights open. I have read here that they don't release all the prices at the same time, but if they do, I can change my reservation and get the cheaper fare. So i figured the important thing was to get a seat!

I can't believe I got flights...I have checked SW at least 5-10 times a day since early Nov. I last checked around 10:30 am, and now at 1:00pm, the dates are open...
I got Fun Fare for the trip down, but paid full price for nonstop back..I'm just glad I got Saturday flights during school break week! Otherwise, it would have been a hassle trying to change dates for hotel ressies, especially at HRH..
Now to get my 4 day PH's before the price goes up with MYW...

Our countdown calenders match! I have been checking SW website on a daily basis. I thought today was the day after looking at their historical release dates. I started at 9am checking every 10 min, then every 3 min after 10am when it hit 11am it was every 30 secs. I'm so relieved its done ! I got the promo fare going down and the fun fare coming back.

Now I feel like I'm going threw withdrawal. I don't have anything to plan for until after 1/2 when they come up with the pricing for the packages!

Ugh...I've been checking a few times each day but I wasn't home when they were released. Looks like I was about 2 hours past release time. I'm paying "special fare" for MCO-ISP at $137 p/p and that's for the late flight on Sat. April 30. Hopefully my kids will sleep on the plane. We'll be getting in at 10:25 pm. I wanted to do better than that.

I did much better flying into Tampa on Sunday April 24th. We'll be visiting with family that day and then drive to Orlando the day after. I got the promotional fare of $87 p/p (these prices are after tax and fees). I had wanted to travel on Saturday but the price difference was too great so we'll go Sunday instead. DH will be happy he won't have to be around SIL for an extra day. My kids won't know the difference so they'll be happy seeing their Florida cousins for ANY amount of time.

Well at least it's over with now. And I didn't do TOO badly...at least we can fly out of Islip and we won't have to drive to JFK. And I still have a carseat and a 2 year old so we can pre-board and find seats easily enough.

Anyone flying from Islip get good fares?

I checked at 10 am and nothing, so at 11:00 I kicked the little ones off the computer and checked. Woohoo !! I was so excited. I've been checking everyday. PVD to MCO $79 one way roundtrip $158. I snatched up 8 tickets. Got the flights I wanted. I think they only had 2 flights to and from at the $79 price when they opened up at 11 a.m. eastern time. Now I'll have to start planning my days out. Oh yeah my dates are April 16-23rd.

I had been checking many times a day since early November, and when I finally got on the computer today around 1:30, ALL of the cheapest fares were gone for the dates and times I wanted to fly. I checked with my sister (my volunteer WDW travel counselor) and she helped me because I started to have a bit of a panic -- for the 5 of us to get direct flights my original dates would've been close to $1600!

I decided to change the dates of my trip, so we're now flying 5 of us for $876 round trip MHT - MCO, AND we're actually paying fewer points at OKW by going a week later, AND our trip will now include my ds's 6th bday! All around so much better. I am so excited!

OK, this smilie is me beating my head against the floor. Did anyone get the email saying that flights opened? You cannot believe how many times I checked flights for the April 16 - 24 vacation and I still miss them.

I don't know why I do this to myself every year. Hopefully, something will open.

I did not get an email. I knew to check today from another post. It had a link to historical Southwest open dates. New dates usually open on a Thursday. Thats why I made sure I checked today. Bummer to those who didnt get anything. Hope something else opens up for you.

Checked at 10, and then this AM at 5:30-----nothing. Any idea if more will open up?? I am SOOOOOOOO frustrated right now. Time to gas up the minivan I guess...
