If I were to buy multiple Southwest Airlines gift cards throughout the year, would I be able to use multiple cards to book our flight to orlando?

I was throwing around the idea in my head that anytime I had some extra funds between now and whenever I could buy tickets for next summer - that I'd go buy a SWA gift card at the grocery store and save them all until I had enough to buy our three tickets, but then I thought maybe they don't allow the use of multiple GCs in one transaction.

Does anyone know?

You can use multiple payment types, but I think there is a limit of 4 per purchase. These can be all gift cards, a combination of gift cards and a cc, etc. but only 4 total. With that said, if you have any credits from previous flights you would use, that is considered a payment type as well, so keep that in mind when you go to book. HTH .

If you're really feeling patient and also really want to pre-purchase things this way, you can book separate reservations for everyone in order to maximize the number of gift cards you use. It goes quicker if everyone has a Rapid Rewards account.

My Kroger affiliate has SW cards in $50, $100, and $200 denominations, as well as variable amount cards. Not sure if the variable amounts can be added to over time, but that might be a good option for you if so.
