UPDATE!!! I just called and they told me that it would probably be around 10:30 am CENTRAL TIME!!! Not Eastern time. He was very nice and told me that he is quite sure that TODAY IS THE DAY!! So stick close to your computers for another hour!!...................P

It appears that another rumor has bit the dust. 10:35 AM Eastern here - no new dates.

*I just called and the nice woman I talked to said she had no idea when it would open up more.

Imperial (AP) Southwest Airlines is coming to Pittsburgh International Airport -- and the airline's executives will be at the airport today to spell out just where the airline will fly.

The announcement is expected to be a major shot in the arm to the airport, which has suffered because bankrupt US Airways -- the dominant airline in Pittsburgh -- has cut hundreds of flights in recent months.

Also, Pittsburgh travelers have sometimes opted to drive to Cleveland or Baltimore to get better air fares offered in those cities. But Southwest, a major discount carrier, is expected to increase competition and drive down fares in Pittsburgh.

A news conference is set for two o'clock at the airport.

On the home page of Southwest's website it says there is going to be a webcast at 11:40pm EST today. Don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

looks like the webcast is at a JP Morgan airline conference and coincides with their SEC filings... which might include a new schedule? not sure...

I don't know about pathetic but I have enjoyed keeping up with this thread. I actually have a subscription to it.

It's like a soap opera. Will the fares be out today? Will they get the fares they are looking for? Is SW also reading this thread and laughing? Stay tuned for the next episode of "How the Ticket Wait Turns"

Still waiting - 9:11 a.m. in NM (MST). I had to run DS to the Dr. earlier and KNEW I was missing fares. Now it will likely come when I go to WW. UGH!!!

We're not going until Oct., either...hope we don't have to wait another 2 months or so before those fares are up!
This is the first time we've gone at that time of year and I'm SO hoping I can get a $39 each-way between Nashville-Orlando. It seems it pops up each year, but never when we've gone (May, Jan, Feb.)

Well... it's after 11:30 am EST... now I feel foolish and scammed! I've been sitting at this stupid computer for most of the morning~! I don't have this kind of time to waste! And with my luck, the dates probably WILL open up at 2pm, like someone else said, and I will be on the ski mtn with my kids! CRAP! (oops, am I allowed to say that??)..............P
