SWA Boarding Pass Question

For my flight home I plan to get my boarding passes printed at POP at the 24 hour mark. My question is will I need anything besides my confirm. #? Will my family need to be present? Will we need IDs? Also, who does this service at POP? Is it the front desk or concierge? Is there a concierge at POP?

All they need is your confirmation number and the passenger's names. All of the resorts now have a concierge desk, and they will handle it for you. I am not sure if concierge is open round the clock, so the front desk can certainly help you in that case.

No, your whole family doesn't have to be present. Just one of you. I believe if you enter the confirmation number and one passenger name, all of the passengers under that confirmation number will appear for check in

When I did this at POP, I just stopped at the front desk/counter. And it was about 1:30 am when I did it since we were returning from an evening EMH during the summer! I was barely coherent...I was so tired I could barely verbalize what it was I needed, but the CM knew right away and did it for me. I did have my conf paperwork in my bag so that made it easier.

We will be having lunch at Kona cafe at our 24 hour mark for SW check in, but we are not staying there. Do you think they would check us in at the Polynesian or would they ask if we were guests there?

When we were at Disney last month, I didn't want to leave the park to go to the hotel to get the boarding passes printed at the 24 hour mark (shooting for those A passes), so I used my Blackberry to check us in and just reprinted them later. Before I had the Blackberry, I used to do the same thing with a WAP enabled cellphone (Get it Now from Verizon is one such service). This allows you to get checked in and get the A pass remotely and you can print the actual copy later via re-printing. I'm sure someone has covered that before, but thought I'd mention it here for those who like G4Tink who are in a park or somehwere not near a PC when that magical 24 hour window opens.

Another option is to have a friend or family member back home check you in on-line. Then you can reprint your boarding pass at the airport.
