Process to Receive $25 off RT SWA flight note: purchase must be made between April 1, 2010, & August 1, 2010; for travel through December 1, 2010


#1 sign up @http://www.visitflorida.com/share/. you need to 'invite yourself via a 2nd email account.

(Yes, multiple, different emails worked, I needed 3 & received them. A code may be used for each person, but each person must have their own, separate reservation...i.e. 1 code per reservation.)note: others have reported success with just using 1 code for all on the reservation, YMMV

#2 you will receive a confirming email/invitation. You must click on it & go to the site to activate the last email with the code.

#3 email code (as described in post #8) for $25 off RT flight will be forwarded to your 'invited' email address. It's stated 3-5 days, mine took 7, including the weekend.

I rebooked my airfare today with code & SWA credit, no fuss, no muss!

I just signed up but I think they said you may not hear from them right away. Kinda confused me because I thought you just signed up for the email code but it was a contest. Still not sure if I signed up right but thought it may be worth a try. I will post as soon as I get something.

it's set up weird imo!

here's how it works...the email you provide to your friend (which should be your own additional email account or accounts multiple worked for me) triggers a email. header will read:

(your name) has invited you to visit Florida!

You need to open that email & click on accept the invitation when taken to their site

Then it states the code will be sent within 7 days, reports on other boards indicate much quicker turn around time as in a day

i just found the email this AM & am waiting for the code, will report back as to timing when i get it.

fyi another promo that is being sent to SWA rapid reward members (im not messing around with it) provides opportunity to earn 2 bonus credits towards a flight, a link for the following rolling out via email, not on the website yet. It is specific to the rapid reward member:

took 1 week to get the codes

i was able to cancel AT leg of trip (schedule change of only NS to late afternoon arrival) & the return trip on SWA already booked.

Used the SWA credit & a $25 RT code for each member of my family

return flight did go up $3 pp, still happy to get a break & be able to monitor the rates for potential price drops.

do you mean as i said i did (cancel & rebook) or are you asking if u could use a different code twice on one reservation? if the latter i very much doubt it.

I don't think there's any way to enter a promo code from the rebooking screen.

Didn't read the entire thread, but I just booked four tickets using one code and it too $25 off of EACH r/t ticket. So in other words, one code reduced my costs by $100!!! you don't need to book each person's ticket separately. HTH someone!!!

SW peep i spoke to yesterday who walked me through the cancellation & rebooking, said only 1 code could be entered per reservation online & that i'd have to split my res into 3 separate ones, each with their own code it sure would make booking easier using just one code.

My IL's used a code today to book a flight from Phoenix to Omaha, no Florida involved LOL! No problem for them. HTH!

Is this working? I only see a contest. I "entered" and used a friend's email. She hasn't received anything. How long will her email take? This would be a big help for her flight, since she has 3 flying in Sept.
