SW - Just Did On-Line Check In and Now I Have a Question

This is our first time flying SW. I checked in online this morning at the 24 hr mark and we received the following boarding assignments:

B2 – me
B4 – DH
B6 – DD13
B7 – DD9

This is so strange to me - how come we don’t have consecutive boarding passes? I think these are good assignments regardless, but please let me know if there’s anything that I should worry about or be prepared for.

I didn’t have time to do a search since we’re busy packing, so sorry if this has been covered before.

It happens. With more people using early bird check in and people so frantic about checking in at the 24 hour mark, this seems to be happening more often. Nothing to worry about. If you all wanted to board together so your 9 year old isn't alone, you can all board together at the B7 position since it's your last one.

It just depends on how hte computer queue hits. If B5 shows up, just let them go in front of you. It may be another split up party and they may end up behind you anyway. You should be fine on sitting together. We were B44 & B45 and had to split up, but that is way later then you. Have a nice trip.

This is normal considering your are competing with a plane full of people that are all trying to check in exactly 24 hours prior to departure you should be lucky that you got boarding passes that close to each other
