Word is there is a great view from the bridge over Hourglass Lake between the Pop and A of A, and they pipe in the music. Can anyone confirm?
Can you see the SW FW from any of the resorts? CSR maybe, just curious, we saw some of Illuminatins last night
Can you point out the best place in HS to view them? We are gong to try for the dessert party, but if we don't get it, where are other good places in the park? We will have our 10 yr olds- is there any place that they will not be in a crush of people?Yup.

And, just outside DHS-
Good views along the plum-colored pathway inside the area that I shaded in green on the map below.

Thank you!
Can you point out on the map where the dessert party viewing area is?
Ok, thanks! Is that view better than the others? Is it less crowded?More or less, between #16 and #2 on the map.

the live show that accompanied the SW fireworks ended last year with the last SWW. The current fireworks show that started in December and the new one that starts on the 17th won't have any live show, just fireworks, projections and lasersMost of the views are good (in the green-shaded areas.)
Dessert Party area is fine with good views of the live show.
We don't know how many Dessert Party tickets they will be selling,
so we don't know how crowded the DP will be.
(They tend to keep making changes until they get the number to their liking.)
Everywhere with a view of the fireworks will be crowded.
that's what I fear as well. I can clearly hear the SW fireworks from my house (I live close to the airport) and I have been hearing the testing they are doing around 1am for the new show and the booms are not as many, of course they could only be testing portions of the show.Star Wars fireworks launch area is moving from inside the park to across World Drive in a newly built launch area.
That along with a new show, we aren't sure exactly how they will present beyond the park but should still be visible.
We watched from the front of CSR and am sure you could see from the Main Pool side of the lake.
I've seen from POP but not much until you go up on the upper floors.
I've watched from the back of Hoops at AllStar Sports.
I've watched them from the path to Epcot, just outside the main gate and inside ............ and nothing compared to inside because the music is such a big part.
Again, we don't know what the new ones will look like ...
...and now they are adding projections and lasers, so my fear is we may see a less intense fireworks to keep costs in check making up for it with projections.

never get tired. I always think of that scene in Mary Poppins where they set their clocks to the cannons.I love fireworks ..... they would be a big draw for me if I lived there.
Question: do you ever tire of hearing them? or is it like a touch of nightly magic?
