We are scheduled for Orlando 6/23/thru 6/30......How bad is the heat?

We are scheduled for DC on 6/25/05, but that's all I have planned so far. We have 2 teenage girls (16 & 15 @ time of trip), so I think they will enjoy Citywalk. Univ Studios & IOA are also part of the plan, though I haven't gotten tickets yet.

Any suggestions for discounts and other things to do? Any ideas are most appreciated :)

You'll have 7 days at SWF with your DC badge.
IOA/USF will take 3 days.
You could catch the shuttle bus over to BGT one of those days. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for the number to call.

They might enjoy Wet N' Wild one morning.

1 week is a lot of time, you'll see everything. I'd rent the car, that way you can ping pong back and forth between the parks.

It's hot in the afternoon. The best plan is to visit a park in the morning, go back to your hotel to rest, then visit another at night.

The parks really don't have discounts, it's best to just order from their site and look for deals there. AAA may save you a few bucks, but it's really not that much. The way you save money is to stop at Publix, stock a cooler, and eat outside the park. Here's directions to the grocery store near USF/IOA. You can click other links on my site for the restaurants and tour of I-Drive. Write down the address of Publix, and use maps.yahoo.com to print a map of where it is. When you book your hotel, print directions from your hotel to the Publix. Eventually, you'll learn your way around.
