Survivor-Tocantins***Winner is named in thread***

I wonder why a former popstar and wife of retired football player wanted to play Survivor. Not like she needs the money, which should have been the first thing out of those guys on her tribes' mouths. I remember the looks on their faces when they found out she was married to Eddie George. That's got to come up again when it comes to voting crunch time.

I wonder if she even has told them about the SWV part? I don't recall them showing that.

I don't think her supposed wealth will really be an issue until they get to the very end, so I don't see how it will hurt her at all until that point. I think that would be a factor in voting to give her the million, but I don't think people care that much until that point. The other players will keep her around if they feel she will help their game.

Since Joe went to exile and would have all the clues, Taj and Steven knew he would find the idol (or lack of) right away. So Taj made a fake idol with some stuff that Steven had collected and hid it there.

What I don't understand is how Joe could possibly believe the Idol was still there. Once he saw the clues, did he really think Taj and Steven were that stupid not to have found the Idol? He didn't seem to question it at all though.
Thanks for the recap! Personally, I think Joe is very arrogant. I don't think he thinks anyone can find anything without his help.

I finally got caught up on all my dvr'd episodes. I think that the secret 4 alliance really blew it this week. They should have kept going to exile even though its tough. Now that Taj has blabed and the other two have seen the clues I don't think that all four will make it to the end.

I don't think so either...someone is going to flip and I'm thinking it's Stephen. He seems to adore JT so I think he'll do everything in is power to keep him around. Taj is probably going down next...she's just too careless with her mouth and people are going to notice this now. The problem with the same people going to Exile time after time is the others noticed and started thinking themselves. It should be interesting now the merge will take place this week.

OT Metro West, your signature is making me hungry! I forgot all about TV Time popcorn and Hunts pudding in cans! Good times.. good times

Indeed...I got hungry picking all the images. Ah...the good ole days right?

BTW...I'm originally from Charlottesville.
:thumbsup2

I am so over Coach. UGH! The whole thing with the beans bugged me. I was hoping he would be picked to go to exile island and not get any of the burgers.

Side note - why do they keep calling it exile island even though they are no longer on a island?

Eh, after the basketball hiatus, I think I have really lost interest in this edition of Survivor.

Buh-bye token pretty blonde.

Did you happen to notice that they showed Joe finding the fake idol but they didn't show the other girl looking for hers? Too bad Taj didn't discuss with Sierra about making up a fake idol for just in case.

You know, usually by the time we get to the merge I've found a couple of Survivors that I really like, but this time around, I just don't care about any of them. Even when Joe went home with the infected leg, I didn't care. It's just kind of a blah group this time.

Yes, Coach is very pompous. He's not going to make it too much longer. I doubt if he'll win any individual immunities.

Same with me. I find this group boring and not very likable. Usually there are about 3 people that I'm sort of rooting for at this point. :confused3

I am the same way, at this point there is someone I like, but honestly I could care less about any of them. I find this Survivor very boring.

Me too...they are all bleh! I don't really like or hate any of them. I kept waiting for this "fantastic" season full of blindsides that Jeff promised from the beginning and I just don't see it. They are just so boring and predictable.

I am really hoping that the secret alliance can get their act together and start something. That would be fun to see.

It looked to me like they were all bummed about not voting out someone... all the planning and secret meetings over the past day meant NOTHING...

:lmao:

I could only watch the last half after the immunity challenge with the sound off. But I could see the disappointment on their faces. Will probably miss next week too since I'll be preparing for a trip with the band. :sad1: I too hope that the secret alliance gets its act in gear. Can't believe the one guy (don't remember his name) thinks that they need to keep it quiet until they get rid of a couple more people.

So, do you think there will be another immunity challenge next week? I would think that there would be and that two people would be safe at Tribal. That would be funny if the tribal council had the potential for 4 immunity idols to be in play.....too bad Joe is gone or there could be 5 (with the fake one). Now that would be good TV :happytv:

Interesting question. I think BJ (goodness, I just watched the episode and I still can't remember his name, that's how non-descript this group is) loses the immunity idol. It shouldn't matter that they didn't actually go to tribal council, somebody did leave, so whether or not he needed the protection is moot.

I agree with you all about this group. I was watching this morning and couldn't even remember which one was Brendan for a while.

Does anyone know what the tattoo on Coach's left bicep says? It's the one in Hebrew, but I can't see all of it.
