Jeff was on Regis & Kelly and they gave him the necklace and told him they expected to see on him during the show. It was a candy necklace with a heart that held each of their pictures.
I feel the opposite about Sierra. She impressed me as one of those people who thinks they're really smart but in reality they aren't. I couldn't stand that girl.

It looks like he bobbled the ball and caught it with his right hand. But it looks like he used his left hand to get better control of the ball. It's hard to really tell though because it takes place below the table top.

Coach's parents live in my area. There was an article in today's paper about how they were affected by the show and his portrayal -
They stopped watching the show halfway through the season - said it was too hard to watch him being made a fool out of on national tv.
They were not supportive of him going on the show.
He invited his parents, then his brother to the family part of the show - and he felt bad, "cheated, it was sad" when they turned down the visit - his dad is a professor at the University of Tennessee and had finals during the taping session, and it's hard for his mom to travel because of "bad acid reflux"
(umm, okay). His brother, a teacher in Nashville declined the free trip because of "school work". Coach said "I think he's crazy for not taking a free trip to Brazil, but I respect him for his priorities".
He was fired for not telling the school where he worked he would be gone for two months. He will be in Knoxville in August, for his 20th class reunion, and may look for employment at the University of Tennessee while he's here, but "I don't know if they'd have me after my reputation has been damaged..."

Even if the production company edited Coach to make him look bad...he gave them plenty of material to work with. He has no one to blame but himself for his "damaged" reputation.

ITA And it doesn't surprise me that his family is distant from him, the guy's a complete jerk. He gave them more than enough material to be judged on. He was one of those rare cases where I had to actually TiVo thru some of his scenes because he just creeped me out! I've always enjoyed watching the "eccentric" ones on Survivor; like the guy with the blackberry, Jerry the Witch, Johnny Fairplay, etc. but Coach was different, really icky for me!

Carey said she had e-mails from Wade to support her allegation. Wade said he asked for the leave of absence based on advice from administrators, faculty and friends at the college who suggested he might be in a better position to come back to LCC if a position became available in the future. "I was surprised to hear about this at the board meeting," Homer Cissell, LCC's president, said of the players' comments. "We are dealing with it and investigating further. We will identify and correct any wrong doing." The president declined to discuss any findings or actions taken so far. He said Wade has completed his commitment to the college for the spring semester. Cissell did acknowledge three women soccer players came to his office with similar concerns 2-1/2 years ago.
"I told them I could not and would not support any guarantees made by their coach," Cissell said. "I told them work was available to any and all students, and we would give them a job. These girls were recruited before I arrived. We just talked. I told them I was sorry, but they owed the money to the college. They turned out to be fantastic workers. I made an assumption after they came in that this stuff had ended. The bottom line is we're just discovering what we thought had been stopped hadn't been stopped.
Ben also told me that the "team is in shambles right now" because he left them without his presence. He also said, "I am phenomenal at manipulating people. I manipulate my assistant coaches. My highest-paid assistant coach right now is getting $5,000 a year. I have a staff of six. It's the biggest coaching staff in the NCAA. Nobody has six coaches. I have these girls come and pay $20,000 a year to come and play for my school and not give them a dime of scholarship, there's others that I do. I'm awesome at manipulating."
