Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

I hope it's Penny....but I think it might be Jake.:(
I think that "Chewing Gum's " members will see him as "more of a threat" than Penny and decide that Jake should go.
I hope not though,....I like Jake and DO NOT like Penny one bit.

Hi Tulirose!

I think Penny stands a pretty good chance of getting the votes off. Especially after Shi-Ann told everyone about her thoughts on Penny (a few shows back).

BTW, thanks for the teasers. :D You have me wondering about some.

A thought on last week's episode (which I just watched a couple of nights ago since I was in Disneyland) -- someone asked how Helen could get more excited about seeing her cat? Well, think about it this way -- all of her family appeared to be old enough to understand "Mama/wife/sister/cousin/whatever is going to be gone for a while, but she'll be back in X days". All the cat knows, however, is that Mama is gone and the cat is probably totally confused as to what's going on. I know I tend to miss my pets more when I'm out of town for that reason (and that I can *talk* to my family, which I can't do with pets). Also, she probably expected to see the human family members and had steeled herself to seeing them, but the cat may have been a total surprise.

As for this week -- I think (hope) Penny goes before Jake. I really like Jake. I'm really hoping Clay is gone this week. He *really* annoys me. Followed by Helen and Penny. We'll see, though. To be honest, Jake is the only one left I really care about. Otherwise, I'm watching out of curiousity rather than desire to really see someone win. They need to do a better job of selecting *characters* rather than people who will make the most controversy or make the best eye candy, IMHO.

Ted is not a happy camper.

Rajah - I agree with your theory about the cat. However, I believe Helen WAS emotional while watching the other members of her family and just really lost it a little bit more when the kitty came on.

I don't know why Brian is teaming up with that Clay fellow. I can't stand him!! (Clay that is).

"Oh my GOD! I need a NIPPLE on top of this!!!"

...and capital of Thailand...Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo?? Don't let big Ted navigate. :)

What were all those things ShiAnn called Penny?? Coniving and whatever else. She went straight over to Jake, very first one, and snuffed his flame. Little backstabbing little you-know-what!!!

Jake: "It's not over 'til the fat lady sings...but I think I hear her warming up!"

Ted: "Ma-ma-marmar-ma-ma-maar... Good bye...Penny...goodbye"

I hope that Penny goes tonight...She deserves it after that little back stabbing incident....

YES!!!!!! Little something-I-can't-type-on-this-board!!

I was really worried that Jake was gonna go!

YIPPEE! Penny's gone!! Next week, Jake will go; if Jake gets immunity, they'll probably get rid of Ted or Brian. At this point, I'm kind of hoping Helen wins it. I keep waffling about Clay - sometimes I like him, and sometimes he annoys me.

Glad, glad, glad. Penny's gone. Shi-Ann was right about her. That was a lousy thing to do to Jake.

I think (depending on immunities) the final 4 will be: Helen, Ted, Brian and Clay. I like Clay. I can't help it. He makes me laugh with his funny little sayings. And he's blunt and funny at the same time. Love his accent.

Heck I like all of them. Jake included, but he has a scarlet letter on him. Poor guy. Jan's alright, I just don't think she will last. Who knows?

I do think I like Ted and Clay the best. I wonder if Ted will ever find out that Clay did instigate his votes? I felt sorry for Ted not accepting the truth from Jake. (I don't know why Clay did that. It wasn't fair to a tribe member that's been a team player. Bad on Clay's part.) It will probably come up again soon.

Annemarie

And Jake stayed true to the end. Even though he knew Penny betrayed him, he still would not cast his vote for her (it went to Jan). What a guy! I hope he takes it all even though it is a long shot.

Clay had a thing about rear-ends this week. "I'm going on a date and he has a great ***! I saw it". Comment made about the elephant's rear-end even before the, umm, passing of flatulence started. I'm glad Ted smacked Clay in his own *** upon their return from the Reward trip. I'm sure Ted would have preferred to smack him upside the head!!

Yes, you are right Tulirose. Jake did stay true to the end. He is a good guy.

I didn't catch the date that has a good butt line by Clay. I did think it was funny when Ted slapped his butt and called him a dog.

I felt sorry for the poor elephant!! I was telling DH that elephant looked kinda rough. That one ear really took a beating with all of that tugging by the guide.

Annemarie

I like Clay, didn't care for him too much at first but he has really grown on me.

Did I hear things right? Weren't they going to vote Jake off, Brian's suggestion, and then switched to Penny at Ted's suggestion? I wonder what Brian thinks about the group going with Ted, him being "king" and all.

And what was the deal with Clay voting differently? He broke rank to get even with Jake. Maybe some strategy involved?

I think that they might should have voted Jake off but we shall see.....

I was thinkging the same thing!!!

Annmarie - And I miss the calling Clay a dog part! Too funny.

Brian looked so funny hanging on for dear life while riding that elephant. "Excuse me, excuse me!" Clay said they were on it for TWO HOURS!!! Yikes. They must have ached something awful when they returned for their lunch!

It is funny the things you can miss on the show.

I was thinking it should be a great reward for all of the trouble those guys had to go through to get there. Two hours on an elephant is a long time! It was funny how uncomfortable Brian looked. Clay looked fine. Wasn't fazed by it. Probably thinking food was around the bend. :D

Kirby, I noticed the same thing. The "king's" power slipped. Ted has more influence than Brian. I'm sure it is a blow to Brian. I didn't like Brian's comment upon return to their camp from the reward. Something like, "They all came running up to the boat like lost sheep." Even if it was tounge in cheek it was kinda inflating his importance (once again). He's dropped down a peg or two on my list.

You may be right about Jake. I'm sure Jake will try his hand at stirring up something to keep himself alive. Who can blame him? As he said, he has nothing to lose.

I'm going to turn in. Have a good night all.

Maybe people have caught onto Clay telling all seven tribe members at different times that they were to be included in the top four (as if he had the right to do same). Maybe Ted was told that Clay instigated the votes against him and now realized that Jake was telling him the truth. Maybe Clay is not in as tight with the rest of his former tribe members as he thought he was.

I'll just crack up if Jan ends up taking it all.

If Ted, Jan and Helen stay tight.. who was the other
"Penny" vote? And, who voted for Jan-Jake?
I think it was a weird vote last night. Brian was
definitely quietly advised that he was no longer
"master." I like this group the best I've like a
Survivor group maybe forever. They despise
betrayal. It's going to be tough for them from now
on.
