Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

I want to see Clay go next...... he bugs the crud out of me. I won't miss Penny.... snuffing out Jake's torch first thing.... what a little witch. He looked so hurt.

I felt sorry for Jake when Penny teamed up with Ted for the reward challenge leaving him out in the cold before it even got started!

I saw Penny on The Early Show today. She said that she didn't realized that anyone would be eliminated immediately when everyone paired up. Either she is lying, and that was the start of her trying to distance herself from Jake, or she didn't pay attention to Jeff. I know I heard him say that the odd one would be eliminated before the race began.

She is totally lying on this or just doesn't listen & follow directions very well. Jeff Probst CLEARLY stated that since there was 7 players one would be eleminated.

I saw that Survivor would be on Wednesday of next week but I didn't catch why. Is that the recap show that was mentioned here? Is the regular show still on same time on Thursday??

I find it hard to believe Penny didn't know somebody would be eliminated in the first round. She had mentioned trying to space herself from Jake in hopes to gain acceptance with the others.

AMClvsMKY - I saw her too and thought the same thing... she's lying. But then I remembered how lost Jake looked, like he didn't know that he was automatically eliminated even though Jeff said that someone would be.

I was going to say to DH last night that they must give the instructions to a challenge more than once because it is so much to absorb, especially in a challenge like last night's reward challenge. But, maybe they don't and that is why Penny (and seemingly Jake) did not hear about chosing a partner or being eliminated.

She did lie on The Early Show, however, when asked if her strategy was to lie and be deceitful. She said no that she was going to observe the others, figure out their game plan and try to fit in (or some such answer). Right from the start with her audition tape she said she was prepared to do whatever was necessary in order to win, including lying. I don't think in the audition tape she mentioned betrayal - but she was very good at doing it with Jake!

You are right. I forgot about that. But on the web site there is a video clip of Clay saying how he told Penny how he was going to vote for Jake and she would know it was his vote by lines he would mark on the card and he did this soley for the purpose of winning her favor when she is on the jury and the vote comes down to between him and one other - she would remember (in his mind) how Clay did not vote against her.

BTW Obi-one - Your signature song sounded so familiar and before coming to the end I realized it was from Firefly (which is NOT on tonight :(). Isn't that an intriguing show?? I'm really getting into that. Cowboys and scifi all conveniently rolled into one show!

Oh also AMClvsMKY, next Wednesday IS a recap show with *never-before-seen* footage. I am uncertain as to whether a regular episode will air on Thanksgiving but I think not. Did we ever figure out when the final episode would air? I think someone did but I'm too lazy to check back right now.....

Towncrier post a quote from CNN that states it is on Dec 19th. I am so sad, but I will be enjoying Collin Raye and the Candlelight Processional that night.

I heard Ken on the radio yesterday morning and he was saying that they do only get the instrustions once. When he was doing his immunity challenge against Clay, he didn't understand what exactly he was suppose to be doing. What they didn't show on TV (according to him) was that he ran over to Jeff and asked for clarification on the challenge. He then ran back out and started doing better but it was too little, too late.

Tulirose - thanks for the info. When I posted I wasn't even thinking about it being Thanksgiving on Thursday. Your right, they probally won't have a regular show on turkey day.

WDW2002 have fun with Collin. :D

So the next "new" show will be the 5th? Guess I'll have to watch it as I'm packing for DISCON.

Clay is the player alright! I would love to see it all catch up to him. Brian as well.

We can't go anywhere because of the snow so I'll be glad to have it to watch tonight.

I'm heading home in about 45 minutes so I can watch it!

Did anyone watch last week? Anything interesting added in their recap?

I hope Jake wins ammunity and they knock off Clay. He's about as obnoxious as Ian on the Amazing Race. They could be brothers, matter of fact!

Amen to that POLLY ANN! Clay is obnoxious, and I can't believe Ian's wife puts up with his constant degrading attitude!

I don't think I want ANY of the current Survivors to win this year.

I don't really care either, thelk. I'm almost debating just staying at work and getting my time in instead of having to do it tomorrow, or stopping by the store real quick for one more item for the Christmas tree and *then* going home. It would mean missing as much as 20 minutes of the show, but when I don't really care for the current participants...

...hmm...

...I think I just talked myself into going to get more beads. ;)

Someone keep a good eye on what's happening on the show to tell me what I missed? ;)

Ya had to rub that in, didn't ya! ;)

TONIGHT ON SURVIVOR:
The castaways are offered a stunning opportunity that leaves the winner in tears of joy and the losers in tears of pain.

Fallout from Tribal Council inspires harsh words from one castaway, causing others to criticize the outburst.

One castaway faces a critical decision that could alter the entire game.

----
I agree with PollyAnn too. DITCH CLAY TONIGHT!!!

I can *NOT* believe I just saw that.

I *might* have gotten past the ants, but not anything else. Certainly not the spider or SCORPIAN????? YIKES!!! Suddenly, I'm not really hungry... :o

(obviously I got home in time)

I do wish they'd have let the losers give their loved ones one hug before leaving. :(

Ok...I thought tonight's episode was awesome. I am very surprised they did not vote Clay off. He is irritating me to no end. I was thinking that Jake is already a winner...and then he said it himself. You cannot fake genuine love and affection. He and his wife have it
