Survivor Thailand! (Possible Spoilers)

I hope Jake hangs in there! I really do like him over anyone else. I hope he gets immunity next week and they kick Clay off. He's a loser.

Jan is a riot. I loved how they showed everyone eating the food that Clay and Brian brought back, but Jan holding onto the container of beer!! lol

"Penny" vote? And, who voted for Jan-Jake?
.............
Yes, Jake voted for Jan. He would not cast a vote against Penny even though she betrayed him. The other Penny vote was by Brian. Clay was the clueless one voting for Jake.

I think Jan will stay around for awhile - nobody seems to see her as a threat. I hope Jake says on and Clay gets voted off soon. I didn't care for Brian's comment about the lost sheep either.

I really like Clay - even though he isn't playing the "cleanest" game... but how can you (considering the winners of all past shows) and still make it to the final two? So is the Brian-Ted alliance still going strong? I couldn't tell from last night's episode whether it was or not. I did think it was funny that Ted didn't believe Jake when he asked about the three votes he got last week. For once, someone was being totally honest (except for actually saying who told him to vote that way), and Ted was so suspicious that he didn't believe him! To me, that shows that people expect their tribesmates to "play the game" instead of being honest and straight-up with any information.
I was very glad that Penny was voted off. I didn't like how she turned against Jake, acting as though he was dead weight dragging her down.
Now I'm just wondering if anyone's strategy is to keep Jan there - possibly to the final two - because they think that the jury would pick that person over annoying, nipple-loving, dead squishy bat-burying, non-navigational, goofy Jan. I know I would!:p
As for the reward challenge - I think that Clay helped Brian over the wall simply because Ted was too heavy for Clay to help. I don't like Brian, and I think he's done well in keeping his arrogance to himself so far, but I'm waiting for the others to see how high-and-mighty he thinks he is.

I think Jan is a lush not wanting to give up the beer once it was in her hands.

Did you see the sideways glance that Brian gave Jan on whose torch (Penny's) to snuff out in the immunity challenge. Like a good little King's subject she went and snuffed it out!

I felt sorry for Jake when Penny teamed up with Ted for the reward challenge leaving him out in the cold before it even got started!

I applaud Ted and his efforts to help Brian over the wall since Clay wasn't going to do it by himself and it was clear to Ted, Clay wasn't helping him. I felt sorry for Ted. Ted seems to be the outcast in the old Chuay Gahn tribe now.

I hope things get shaken up in the weeks to come and Jake is still in it. My choice for final three would be Jake, Ted and Helen not necessarily in that order.

Clay was the clueless one voting for Jake.

Actually when Clay held his vote up to the camera he said that the vote wasn't originally supposed to go to Jake, but after what Jake said right before the voting started he wanted to vote for him.

Clay continues to surprise me every week. He might just be the smartest one of all :)

I don't know about Ted being the outcast. No one seemed to want to put out his torches during the immunity challenge. He was the last one with all three lit even after a few others had been eliminated.

I can't stand Clay. And while I had liked Brian at the beginning he is starting to wear on me. Final four: Brian, Ted, Helen and Jan if Ted, Helen and Jan are smart enough to team up against Brian and Clay (who the more I think about it are really annoying me right now). Of course this depends on immunity.

I was glad to see Penny go. What a backstabbing witch. Jake may be better off if he didn't try so hard.

I think there is more going on and being edited out than we know.

Okay, let's see how right I am...

I think that after that talk Jake had with Helen, and after her torch was one of the first snuffed (even if she won in the end), that might have opened her eyes a bit. Does anyone remember who snuffed Helen? Wasn't it either Brian or Clay?

My guess is she's going to look at that action and what Jake said, and decide to hook up with Jake, Jan, and Ted against Brian and Clay. Between the four of them, they're going to knock Brian and Clay off next. Then Jan will be the next to go. It'll be Helen, Jake, and Ted into the final 3, with Ted taking the win. I'm not sure who he'll be up against, Helen or Jake, but it'll be Ted that wins.

Anyone agree? :teeth:

I really hope Helen makes it to the end. Other than the annoying recipe thing (which I think may have been blown up in the editing of the show) she's been a great trooper. She works hard and seems to me to be the most deserving (although deserving never got you anywhere).

I like Jake, but don't don't think he is playing smart anymore. Last week I said almost the exact thing Brian said on the show last night - the experience is starting to wear him down and cause him to make errors. He should have voted for Penny - saving yourself is part of the game. I don't care for Penny, but she tried to do what she needed to do. I don't think any of the alliances on this game have been strong enough for self-sacrifice.

That said, I think now that Helen, Ted, and Jan need to listen to Jake and team up to get rid of Clay and Brian. On the other hand-another thought is that some of them may want Clay and Brian in the final four - because any one of them (Helen, Ted, Jan, & Jake) might have a chance with the jury over Clay or Brian. Everyone else left is still flying low enough under the radar to have jury support.

To me, this is the Survivor with the most "intrigue" as far as alliances go.....you just can't trust any of this crew !
I think Ted got "dissed" by Clay and Brian--but if I were Brian, I'd watch my back with Clay. Of them all, he's the major "player" in my opinion and if it doesn't backfire on him BIG TIME--he'll end up in the final two.
From now on, the challenges will be political as well as physical/mental and that's what I love--people have to make choices in a split second (who to help over the wall; whose torch to put out) that can come back around to them......
Survivor and CSI--Mom is "off duty" during these two each week!!
:p

Oh Rajah, that would be my dream scenario! Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Does anyone know when the finale is??

I thought maybe the 19th of December but with no new show on Thursday (but a clip show on Wednesday) I am hoping that it won't be until the next week the 26th. Does anyone know?? PLEASE HELP!! I will be at WDW (or at the airport) for the Dec 5th, 12th, & 19th shows.

WDW2002, I don't know when the finale is...

When Jake was talking with Helen about strategy, he mentioned someone gave him a "pecking order" of who was going to be voted off. Was that information aired? I don't remember hearing it. Helen was interested (rightfully so) in what he had to say. It might not be time to put that information to use yet. But I'm sure she is thinking about it.

travelbug24, I did see Jan take Brian's advice on the snuffing out. Interesting she looked to him for it. I felt sorry for Jake too, when Penny left him for Ted on the challenge. But at least her strategy didn't work out. I thought it was a pretty cold thing to do.

I also applauded Ted for helping Brian during the challenge. I felt sorry for him too. But I think he's playing pretty clean. And I think it will help him in the long run.

They were out on a water run together-he mentioned the pecking order and I thought he went through a list.(is this your question? Or are you asking if we have been privy to WHEN Jake was given the info and WHO gave it to him? That I don't think we know)

Oh wait ...sorry  you want to know WHAT the pecking order was...sorry! But I was interested in how Jake kept wanting to tell Ted that if Brian isn't the next one to go, then Ted will be (or something like that.)

Hi Lilboo!

Yes, I was wondering what the pecking order was. (You did answer my question --- I had a feeling it wasn't disclosed on air)...very interesting that it was (or was it? --- maybe he was bluffing) disclosed to Jake...

I think Jake will pick up that angle (Ted vs Brian) again with Ted. Ted may be a more receptive listener this time, after the last series of events with Brian & Clay so chummy chummy.
