Survivor: Palau...official Thread

Wow i thought for sure that Ulong would win immunity tonight!!! I'm not sad to see James go though he is not one of my favorite players...I thought it was funny at tribal council when Jeff asked him about whether or not he should be voted off based on how he did in the challenges and he basically said no, but last week he was willing to vote Ibrehem (sp?) out based on that! I wonder if they will merge next week or if they might do something with the two survivors who didn't make it on to either tribe?!?!

I've been wondering too if they'll bring those two back. I keep thinking how unfair it was that they never got a chance to play.

I'm glad Ulong lost immunity tonight so James could go  .

James should have been booted 3 TCs ago.

Glad with tonight's choice. James was way too cocky for Survivor. He basically did at tonight's challenge what he blamed Ib at the last immunity challenge.

An eye 'or an eye ole Jimmy boy! ;)

He basically lost both challenges single handedly. With that stupid knot and I'm amazed that someone from Alabama couldn't shoot straight.

Thanks heavens James is gone.

Any guess how much longer until the merge?

isnt it generally when it gets down to 10? i think they have 10 now. but they might wait another week for ulong. just an estimate

Amen to James being kicked off the island!!! He was pretty worthless.

Personally, I hope Ulose dwindles down to two before they merge. That tribe are the losingest losers in Survivor history! :teeth:

Looking ahead, this sets up an interesting dynamic when/if they merge. The "outcasts" of Koror could absorb the remnants (2-3 people?) of Ulong and take down the "strong/popular" Koror members. I'll bet Coby would know how to put together some coup to take down Tom (firefighter from NY -is that his name?)

Right now, there are 11... 8 on Koror, and 3 on Ulose- I mean Ulong!

I liked James ... until tonight. His crack about Ibrahiem praying to his Muslim god and how is (James') god is going to win out really rubbed me the wrong way.

As an atheist, any kind of "my god is better than your god" makes me just want to {insert barfing smiley here}.

I'm glad he's gone.

I am worried about Stephanie. She has flip-flopped twice now and I don't think Bobby Jon will be snowed by her again. Why didn't she make her vote flowery and girly this time? Bobby Jon thought that James voted against him because of the handwriting. If he has half a brain he'll put two and two together and know that she stabbed him in the back. Twice. I just don't understand it at all and I really like Steph.

I was thinking the same thing about her handwriting. If I was Bobby Jon I would of noticed that right away. If I was Steph I would of made my handwriting really girlie.

So initially she was suppose to vote James but didn't? I think I missed something. When she made a deal with Bobby Jon didn't they agree to make it a tie and then during the tie breaker that's when they would vote for James?

I can't say that I'm sad to see James go. Didn't he say something about being able to tie a knot so tight that no one would be able to untie it? I probably should have known since he could even tie a good knot around his skirt.

I was a little surprised by the way Koror broke up their team for the immunity and reward challenge. I thought they should have kept either Tom or Gregg back for the immunity challenge but I guess it didn't matter.

The reward challenge with the jellyfish was pretty cool! Was anyone else thinking of the scene from Finding Nemo :goodvibes I was a little surprised about the Pringles though ... that didn't seem like much compared to the food reward of beef stew from last week.

I also thought the previews looked good too. They first show Ulong catching a tiny fish and then they go to a shot of Tom with that huge shark! :rotfl:

Well, I am upset that Ulong lost another IC. But I am SOOO HAPPY to see James GONE! But he was in the game way longer than he should have been. I still can not believe that he out lasted Angie!

I bet the Navy is hiding their faces right now. Here is James very happy to say that the Navy tought him how to tie a knot that can't be untied. NOT! And I loved the cometary by Cody on Koror. That was just too funny. By the way he was talking he thought they were done for.

But Steph really shot her self in the foot. That is if Bobby Jon can figure out what she did. I don't understand why she wanted to keep James around at all. Yes, Bobby Jon could be a problem if they survive the merge, and the challanged become one on one. But no one is for sure when that is going to happen. Heck, last week they tought it was going to happen at TC.

Well it will be intersting to see what happens next week. Glad to see that Koror finally got their shark. But I think the rest of the team is really going to see them more than a threat than they already do. And it looks like Tom is really starting to take note of Greg and Jen, just hope they are able to do something about it before its to late. I really don't want another Rob/Amber type winner.

I'm sorry...but I actually had tears in my eyes when Ulong lost immunity...again. They just can't catch a break!

I think the reason Steph forced a 'tie' the first time around was to kinda "save face" with James. they could have gone all night voting and tieing (sp?) until a "purple rock" had to be pulled.

I can not WAIT to see the breakdown of Koror...you know it's coming...they have to turn on each other eventually.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Jeff Probst didn't care much for James? That and he is in awe at how bad Ulong is. He really laid into James and the entire tribe last night.

James' face dropped when Jeff blasted him for standing there fussing with his "toga" while everyone else was working on the immunity challenge.

I am glad to see James gone. I couldn't believe how blind the rest of Ulong was to how BAD he was at challenges. He was just good at spinning it around to look like someone else was the cause of them losing.

Let see, he missed every single one of his targets on the reward challenge after boasting that he was a good shot.

His "impenetrable" knot that nobody could untie (according to his Navy background) lasted all of how long with Koror?

He was the only one (besides Kim) who lost every one of his Sumo matches against Coby which cost that challenge.

His "unbeatable" construction work on the bathroom lost.

All James did was write checks with his mouth that he couldn't cash.

I thought maybe Stephanie was trying to prove that she is trustworthy and true to her word. While Jeff was questioning them, she said that she could be trusted and would keep her word. By voting Ib first she kept her word with James and then voting James in the tie kept her word to Bobbi Jon. If they go back to camp and BJ confronts her about it, this would maybe solitify her remarks about being trustworthy. JMO

Okay, after watching James on the Morning Show, I am convinced he does not live in the state of Alabama. He lives in a state of DENIAL.

He was going on about how the knot did work.. and how he didn't waste time tying his toga while everyone else worked on the challenge.

He accused Jeff Probst of smoking crack. :confused3 :rotfl:
