Survivor: Palau...official Thread

Thursday, March 3 at 8PM ET/PT.

One tribe relaxes after winning a Challenge, which annoys a tribemate frustrated with the lack of a work ethic.
I think this has be on Ulong. Or at least that is my first guess.

A war of words erupts between two tribe members as one lays into the other for being bossy.
Do we think that someone will be butting heads with Caryn, from Koror?

Just as a Challenge is set to begin, one tribe faces a setback when a member suffers an injury. Will this affect their ability to compete?
I think this Koror. I have seen a comercial that has Tom holding some ones head. And that person is laying flat on their back in the water.

Two fearless castaways take it upon themselves to confront some deadly creatures on the island.
Seen the ad of some men going out to go fishing for SHARKS. But I can't tell who it is. Should be fun to watch!

Don't forget to check your tribes! Don't wait to long to make any changes you want to make. And don't forget the extra bonus section.

All I have to say is Bobby Jon...mmm, mmm, mmm.

I would've voted Kim off. Blech.
  I agree, Bobby Jon is HOT!! and the best asset on thier team, although Angie certainly is pulling her weight.

What is it with these buff guys wimping out. Remeber that black guy with the muscles that QUIT in another Survivor? I can't remember his name! I mean, was Jeff a WHINER tonight, or what??? I kept thinking WHAT A BABY!!!

My DH said the exact same thing...

How about Stephanie, she's tough !!!!

I am so loving this Survivor!!! I like many of the "castaways" (Tom, Bobby Jon, Stephanie, Ibrahim, tattoo girl, Ian, etc.) I don't care for Kim (wish she went home) and the two that got into the argument.

I felt bad for Jeff. What rotten luck to have that happen, although I wish he would have stuck around to see if his foot would have improved. Just because last time it took 3 weeks to start getting better doesn't mean it would have this time.

The challenges are new, different and fun to watch! Way to go Survivor for stepping things up a notch!!!

That immunity challenge tonight was especially creative. We haven't seen anything like that before.

I didn't think Jeff was a whiner at all. He was very matter of fact and honest with his team. I thought it was very honorable of him to own up to the seriousness of his injury. I have ankle problems and they're not the kind of thing that goes away overnight. I think he wanted to stay, but not at the expense of his team.

YUK! I can't believe Kim squeeked through another tribal council. I would HATE to see her coast through to the end.

I thought it was very mature of Jeff to bow out for the sake of his team. I think he should have given it a few days just to see if his foot got better, but still, very unselfish move.

I think that after that immunity challenge, I might have to root for Stephanie. WOW! No way I could have kept up with those guys. Go girl! :cheer2:

I too, wish they'd kept Jeff and booted Kim. Her standing around "cheerleading" Bobby-Jon while he knocked coconuts out of the tree, then carried then ALL back to camp by HIMSELF....uh why's Kim still there???! I know stuff is edited out, but why wasn't she gathering while he harvested??? Support is great...but if it's only verbal, what's the point? Kim does nothing as far as the show's been edited....I could be wrong, but the arguements for keeping jeff seemed stronger than Kim's contributions to the tribe. Yet she's still there...I don't get it.

ITA! Jeff said he heard and felt a "pop" when he injured himself- that sounds pretty serious. Sounds like he's had ankle problems before, too, so he knows when something bad happens. I'd want to get off the island and to some professional medical help if something like that happened to me. He knew he was out of the runnung for the million, and it doesn't seem worth doing permanent damage to your ankle to tough it out for a few more days on that godforsaken island.

Well, I'm glad I've been rooting for Angie since the first show. Talk about not judging a book by it cover! YOU GO GIRL! And I like Stephanie as well, a really strong competetor.

That reward challange was something else. Janu did not look to happy when she came out of the water.

Tom being a firefighter really helped out his team. I think he could have carried one more 20 pound bag, before he really began to feel it. Seeing that he so use to carring all his firefighter equipment, up those NY building stairs.

I think Jeff did the right thing by asking his fellow tribe members to vote him out. He knows his body, and didn't want to let his team down. And unlike those in the past who asked to be voted out, he still wanted to be there. And I'm sure if he felt he could, he would. Though I still think Kim has got to GO! Don't care for her one bit. And the way she was acting at TC, was just priceless. Acting like she was the victim.

Thought it was a bad move on Koro's part to feed their snake to the sharks. I know they are hungery, but you don't give away the food you just put your life in danger for. They should have ate the snake and tried for the shark another day. Though I do have to give them kudos for trying for the shark.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind being stuck on an island with Bobby Jon, that's for sure!

I think Tom's biggest problem may be too much strength, but I have to root for a NYC firefighter. And Stephanie! You go, girl!

I don't think Kim will last much beyond her next trip to tribal. I can understand why they chose Jeff--maybe now, Kim will have to contribute more, since she can't tag along after him. But man, that coconuts thing--could she BE any lazier?

I liked the immunity challenge, but I couldn't believe how many women bowed out so quickly. Or maybe the editing just made it seem that way. I know it was hard, but the longer you stay in, the more it helps your team. Although Koror looked like they could have gone on all day.

Loved the shark/snake thing, but couldn't they have chosen a less poisonous snake? Oh, and let's feed it to sharks, there's a plan! But I know they're really hungry.

I agree. I am so surprised he gave up that easy. I would have said "Look I hurt my ankle but I can still do stuff around camp. We can give it a couple of days and see how it gets. He just gave up a chance at a million dollars. :earseek:

This is a great Survivor. So many personalities to like:

TOM, BobbyJon, Stephanie, Angie -

I'm not crazy about Caryn, Janu and Willard. They seem weak and flat, but that could be the editting. Coby tries but is always short of greatness.

I also like Ian - tall, lanky, fast and smart is going to get him very far in this game. He will be a contender.

I also think Jenn has a very pretty face and she is quite (although, that could be editting, too.

Don't hear much about Gregg - and he seems quite strong. We'll see! :3dglasses

I totally agree! SOOO nice to see new and different challenges...and not recycled ones from past survivors. I really liked the immunity challenge last night...I wonder how long it really went on for.

Stephanie is the toughest chick I've ever seen on Survivor...and she doesn't "flaunt" it either. She's a GREAT asset to that tribe.

and Angie just kicked booty on that reward challenge...loved when she just dunked Janu under!

I really wish we could see more of the other tribe (Ulong? with Ian/Janu/Willard/Katie) They really don't get much face time it seems.

And why why why does Ulong keep sitting willard out in REWARD challenges? Obivously he is their weaker player...he should sit out the Immunity challenges....because THAT'S where you need your strenght...who cares if you miss out on a sewing kit - better to have your immunity.

That's exactly what I said to DH last week. Think people, think! lol
