But if the marriage thing is a scam, what incentive does Amber have to go through with it? If she doesn't love him, why split it? Just take the money and move on. Now wouldn't THAT be ironic? Back-stab the back-stabber?

(Now, don't get me wrong. If it is sincere, I wouldn't wish for anyone to betray or hurt another.)

With regards to the extra million we're voting on, it looks like Amber can actually win again. I doubt she will, but I thought Jeff had said she wasn't elligible. I guess I heard wrong.

Throughout the entire season, Robfathuh would always say anything for the million. That is what the game was about getting the million bucks. So, he will do anything for the money including the bogus proposal to Ambuh live. Did you see how big that rock was?

I wonder what he would have done if things turned around last night with Rupert winning immunity and went all the way? I bet that he would NOT have proposed to Ambuh and went on his merry way! I don't think he would have asked her to marry him if she had not won the bucks! Remember he kept saying anything for the money! HMMM makes you wonder if fate had dealt a different hand last night.............

Well I may not be the best judge, since I was sobbing loudly that I had missed the first 1 hour and 15 minutes of the finale....
but I believe Jeff said that Amber wasn't eligible to win the car. Since the person that had won the car before in a reward challenge had never gone on to win Survivor...until Amber...the winner of Survivor usually got the car too at the Reunion Show. So Amber had to give it to someone and she picked Shii-Ann <barf>. So I believe she could be eligible to win the second million also, but I hope America is smarter than that! She didn't deserve to win the first million!

I'm amazed at how often the quiet girl that flies under the radar wins...Tina, Vecepia, Jenna...now Amber!

Well RedbirdGrad you and I are the odd ones out my vote goes to RUDY as well!!! I thought that last night but then when I heard that half of his winnings will go to fallen soldiers wives and children you can't help but vote for him!

I think I'm the only one in America that thinks Rupert is so whimmy and whinney.

I still can't figure out who the real Rob is. Last night when he wanted votes he put on quite an act about how remorseful he was at hurting people and betraying people. If you watch his video which was shot shortly afterwards, he's back to his cocky self saying he deserves the million because everyone else has sour grapes and he played the game the best. I just don't think he is a genuine person, so my votes will be going to Rupert.

Also, I agree with whoever said that Amber didn't seem very happy last night. This is the first finale that I can remember where the winner didn't stay on stage and hug all the other players. She ran right into the audience to see her friends and family and never bothered to thank the ones that voted for her. She didn't come back on stage until they put them all on the stage to start the reunion show. Amber just seemed very detached from everything last night. She didn't even seem all that excited about the engagement either. She also did a whole lot of eye rolling when the others were speaking, which was pretty rude.

I don't know if was bad lighting or not, but when they first showed Rob and Amber sitting around the fire, they both looked really odd. It didn't even look like them. I actually think they looked better when they showed them still on the island.

I thought Jenna and Shii Ann in particular looked great last night. They clean up well!

As Rob has pointed out throughout the season, he will do ANYTHING for the money! So, he has to act a little remorseful over hurting people to get the money, he has to shed a little tear (let me throw up!) to do that, he will do that!

I really thought Amber didn't seem excited about getting engaged. Not because she didn't cry, but she didn't even really seem surprised or even super smiley. This morning when they were on the early show for her to get her money she seemed kind of standoffish towards Rob. They asked her if things will change now that she has the money and she really didn't answer. He answered for her ...a fast NO, and she didn't even like laugh and agree or anything.

Did anyone else catch the early show , and the comment Jeff Probst made to Rob C? He said Rob was mad at him for not talking to him during the finale and Jeff said to the early show hosts that he skipped over him because he really made no impact this season....Rob was TICKED!

I also agree about Rupert looking like the little kid that got picked on enjoying his day in the sun. I could see that so much in him throughout the whole show. Even some of the decisions he made that I didn't understand (like taking Amber and Jenna on his reward in the helicopter) it was like getting to hang out with the popular girls. It's so sad and I think he seems like such a nice and genuine person!

On the opening screen it says something like vote for who you want to give the extra million dollars to and then it says click here...when you click on that it takes you to that page you mentioned so I am assuming that is it. Do you think they will also announce who gets the most votes for the other categories? I hope so!

The best moment of all I thought was Rupert stealing the shoes and selling them! I had never laughed so hard in my life!

Rupert did seem more whiny to me than in Pearl Islands, but I still like him the best! Rudy was my second favorite, though! If Rupert doesn't win it, I think Rudy should!

BTW, does Rupert remind anyone else of my favorite Harry Potter character--Hagrid?

Totally agree! Amber actually looked like she had 'work' done...however, turned out it was just really bad makeup put together with "Farrah Fawcett" type hair - hello, she had "wings"? And Rob looked so different with meat on his bones...I personally don't see the attraction to him physically - but that's just me.

Jenna L looked AMAZING! And I give her credit - it's all natural - no work needed (like Sue - who DID look good though.)

BTW, does Rupert remind anyone else of my favorite Harry Potter character--Hagrid?

oh - if anything ever happened ot Robbie Coltran - god forbid - Rupert could TOTALLY play Hagrid!

I didn't cry when I got engaged, not a tear but I was thrilled, I'm just not a happy crier. I think if Amber was someone who cried when she was happy she would've cried when she won a million dollars, she didn't. I think she wasn't thrilled to be sitting there having to watch Rob and herself STILL take crap from people, she probably wanted to let them have it. I know I wouldn't be thrilled to sit there and have a bunch of hypocritical idiots still yelling at me just because I outsmarted them and did exactly what they wanted to do to me! Some of them were incredibly sore losers, especially Lex, what a fool.

I'm happy for them, anyone that kisses for the first time with nasty stinky breath, having not showered in weeks, well that's definitely love.

I definitely have a cynical side to me, but I truly think this Rob and Amber relationship is for real. I think she already knew he was going to do something like that and that is why she didn't look shocked. Amber was NEVER a real emotional player during the game- did you notice that??? She was not a whiner, a crier, she never really panicked----I don't think she's the type of person who wears her emotions on her sleeve. To me the kicker for it being for real, is how involved the parents seem to be in this relationship---you know, like Rob and Amber have been doing quite a bit with both families, like real couples do. I wish them the best of luck. It isn't how I hoped All Stars would turn out, but I am happy for them and I do not think it's a plot for the million...cause after taxes, I don't think that million is really enough to go through the "hassle" of getting married.

And her ring was GORGEOUS. Wow.

My answers were quite similar to yours . The only differences I believe were best villian (I chose Johnny Fairplay) and Best moment (I chose Sue's speach to Kelly at the final tribal council on Survivor 1).

We were watching Harry Potter before the finale came on
and I said to my DH doesn't Rupert look like Hagrid.
That is too funny.

Also, it states on cbs that they will reveal the answers to all of the polls on Thurs night along with the million dollar winner.
