I am not sure if she was on the morning show or not, but I happened to catch the last 10 minutes or so of her on Howard Stern. She sounds like a real ditz. Giggled excessively. Said that once the guys arrived she felt brand new. Wanted to stay. Said she was probably over her physical illness by that time, but being surrounded by "crazy women" was making her feel still sick.

Not having to do with Survivor: She admitted to being sexually active, but she has no boyfriend. Howard says...so you just sleep around? And she says...yeah. Refused to get topless even though Gary offered her $3000.00. Refused to answer a lot of Howard's other lewd questions.

My score is now 519. I DID get 40 extra points for Heidi kissing a team mate. Thank you CBS very much but could someone please tell me, just WHO did Heidi kiss??? During the immunity meat challenge, she and Roger exchanged meat orally. Are they counting that as a kiss or did I miss something else?

Today we fastforwarded through The Early Show that hubby taped on Thursday morning and there was no Shawna at all in it. I wonder if she was on today (Friday)?

It's OK nuke. A lot of the score is chance. Don't worry about letting others down, just have fun playing.

I was listening to the radio this morning and they happened to have Shawna on. They were teasing her about her "sudden recovery" when the guys joined them. Her excuse was that when she started Survivor, she had the flu, throwing up, etc. She got so down in the dumps that by the time she was over the flu, she didn't notice and just stayed depressed. It took the guys joining them for her to realize that she was not sick anymore. Hence her quick recovery.

She also said that she didn't really care for Deena but did like Jenna and Heidi. She was not there for the money. She said that the reason she applied was because she thought she would do well since she is the kind of person who doesn't start fights very often.

When asked about why she didn't kiss Rob when he said that someone should kiss him after he brushed his teeth, she said that had she known he had said that, she would have.

I am such a dork. I just now realized that you can assign bonus catagories to your team! Had I been doing that for the past six weeks I would have more points. I guess I need to read the rules better.

I just really stink at picking the right people

Don't feel too bad. I had been doing pretty good, then totally bombed last week. I think I only got 38 points (would have been 50, but Jenna sat out the immunity challenge and cost me -12). It's going to get even more intersting now, because with the merge we no longer have a 50-50 chance of someone winning reward or immunity.

My parents are the coolest, and my dad is the BEST! I was out of town the past two weeks and so unable to actually *watch* Survivor when it aired. Week 1, I reminded my parents (actually wasn't out of town yet, just going to class) and asked if they could record what would be coming on in about an hour and a half. They got it, but I left the next morning so couldn't watch it. Then last week, I was out of town and didn't have a clue Survivor was on on Wednesday. Thursday afternoon, I talked to my dad and asked him to record Survivor (he doesn't watch it). HE CAUGHT IT FOR ME ANYWAY!! Even though it was on a night early, he noticed and recorded it for me, so I got to see both of them last night! What great parents!!

Anyway, my impressions of the past two weeks pretty much just mimic what everyone else has said, so I'll just say "ditto"! Though I do have to say I love the new team Christy is on, and I, too, would like to see the final 4 as Roger, Butch, Dave, and Christy, with Deena as #5. And I *loved* Christy on the log! She did great -- I wonder if part of why she did so well is because being Deaf, she's used to watching others closely, and you really had to watch closely to get an idea as to how the other player was going to move the log.

And yes, I am loyal to my team -- I'll change players when one of my people is voted out. So what if I'm next to last. LOL!

Looking forward to tonight!! I agree this has been the best season since Australia.

We were thinking the same thing. Plus she had the added bonus of not being distracted by everyone yelling. Christie is our favorite right now

Loyalty, shmoyalty. I build my tribe each week based on the coming attractions and who I thinkwill get me the most points. You gotta know I have Heidi and Jenna in there for the naked points. And Matt catches more fish than anybody. It's hard to tell who's going to get tree mail on any given show, but some things are easy to predict.

SSB was VERY upset that he missed the Wednesday change dealee last week... not remembering until already over.

Two quick questions... from reading many pages back... was the challenge that Christie did well in a "log rolling" type deal?

Also, just what was the "meat" challenge? Can't figure out from what you all typed... eek!!

Like the theories on the "box"! I fear unless Mark B. pulls something fast, the goils are going to disappear very quickly, which I do not want to happen... well, at least to TWO of them... haha! Have been Deena and Christie fan from the beginning and don't want them out... the others are nits. Haha!

In the log rolling contest, the participants had to get on opposite ends of a log and try to roll the other off. If both went off, whoever slipped first was the loser. Christie faced Heidi both times and beat her

In the meat contest, there was a large slab of cooked meat hanging from a hook. The tribes had to tear chunks from it, using only thier mouths, like pirhanas, and drop it in a basket. The winner was whoever had the most meat by weight.
