We forgot to tape Survivor last night. Now, I am glad I didn't waste my time. I hate those "redux" shows!

I was checking e-mails early and decided I'd give this an early bump with teasers and all.

ON THE NEXT EPISODE

In a SURVIVOR tradition, the castaways bid on much-desired items of food. But when letters from home are thrown into the auction, emotions run high and a fierce bidding war breaks out, leading some to exuberance and others to tears.

Particularly good news from home makes one Survivor giddy with excitement and leads to a morale boost.

Beaming with power, the alliance of Alex, Rob, Jenna and Heidi take it easy while the others toil in the hopes of saving themselves.

A Survivor promises to vote against a trusted ally, sending the wounded friend into a flutter.

Easily one of the best Survivor episodes EVER!!! The only way it could've been better is if Jenna or Heidi had gotten voted off. Excellent excellent EXCELLENT!!!!!!

Definitely one of the better Survivors in a long time! I was getting done with it the last couple...watched, but not really into it. This one has me hooked!

We LOVED the ending! As much as I like the person that got voted off, I'm glad it went the way it did.

That was great. I love it when they are so sure of themselves and they get blind-sided. I don't think Rob will win because I think he has made too many enemies with the jury and I think they would vote for any one of the other three over him. I'm so happy I really hope Jenna and Heidi are the next to go. You never know though with the jury - Richard did win.

Loved it!! It was worth losing the points when Alex was voted off. I can't believe he actually told Rob about the plan to vote him off if they, and the stick figures, made it to the final four.

Also, were the stick figures mad at Christy for not allowing Heidi to win a letter from home? That was the impression I got. I would have thought they would have been grateful that Christy gave the OK for Jeff to auction another letter. She could have been a total b**** and said no (I couldn't imagine Christy being like that though).

Yep, Heidi and Jenna were mad at Christy. I think they both live with a sense of entitlement...and were very put off that somebody might interfere.

I thought Dena getting voted off last week was good but this week topped that. These people were so cocky! Come on, get over it! Everyone was bidding on items but I think Jenna took it personal when Kristy won the bid. Get over it Jenna and stop being a baby! I can't wait for next week!!! Annmarie

That was really cool! I love it when someone gets blindsided! And Alex's parting words were great. He seemed to take it right in stride.

I'm glad Rob shook things up!!

Heidi and Jenna are on my nerves so bad! mtemm is right...they seem to feel entitled. Or really "special" at least. They have ostracized Christy from the get-go if you ask me. Mean little b*****s. And Jenna being so clueless about how the others think about her!!!

The moment of the week for me...the moment that had me howling....

That was priceless!!! We were ROFL at that one. I like people that can laugh at themselves like that.

Basically, Christy outbid the "cute girls" because she had all her money left (I think she bid $340 or so). Both of the bimbos kept giving her wierd looks and then comforted each other over thier loss. Jeff asked Christy's permission to auction off one more letter. Christy said yes. Jenna won. When they got back to camp Jenna made some comment (off camera) that Christy should have let Heidi win. I have no idea what that was all about excpet maybe the sense of entitlement kicking in. They are finding out that they can't get everything they want in the Amazon with a smile and a couple of saline bags.

I was pretty sure I heard Jenna say "Heidi" but I could be wrong. It may have been the other way around. Either way, they should have taken into account that everyone would be pumped, especially about news from home. I can't say I would have thought of anyone else either, unless it was something someone had mentioned to me in the last day or two.

I have it taped, so I watched again. Jenna did say "When Christy outbid Heidi" that she was surprised, but not really, but I thought that the ultimate reason that they were peeved was that Jenna wouldn't get news from home about her mom. Having said that, it threw me when they gave them another chance to bid, and after Jenna bid, Heidi bid...I thought Heidi would have just let Jenna win right then...but then Jenna bid again and won. So...I don't know...it's confusing.
