I think you hit the nail on the head. the only way that Matt, Christy and Butch can turn the tide is to convince Rob that once they go, he'll be the next to go. He can change that, if he gets Alex off early, making Heidi and Jenna the majority.

Somone alluded to Marquesas. The immunity challenge last week was similar to the one that turned the tide on Marquesas. It was to early this time to have the same positive impact. If it came next week, I think the pecking order would have been more obvious to Rob and he could have been pulled to the minority side.

Jenna looked positively skeletal last night! I can't imagine where she fit all that food and coffee she had.

I was kind of surprised that with all the bagels, muffins, cookies, etc. that were available, that Alex and Jenna didn't bring anything back but those few broken cookies. Alex was carrying a large pack with him. Surely he could have fit more...

But do you think Matt, Christy and Butch are so used to being followers that they wouldn't approach Rob? Well, now that I type that and think about it, they've got to know that Rob and the chicks have an alliance. I just hope that Christy doesn't go over to the dark side (Rob and the chicks).

Judging from the previews, if they don't know they have an alliance, they are pretty damn stupid. I mean, Rob, Alex, Jenna and Heidi-Ho just flat out flaunt it. If you ask me, if they dont want to do any work, Butch, Matt and Christy ought to tell them "hey we know you're going to vote us off, get your own damn food and water."

How did I miss the previews for next week?! Survivor started almost an hour late here in Central New York. There was a big televised celebration at the Carrier Dome in honor of our national championship . (If ya hadn't already heard ). Anyway, I don't remember seeing Deena's comments or the preview. Maybe they skipped it.

If Rob and the chicks are laying around while the rest are working, I'm going to have to dislike them even more! Someone said that the girls are crying right? Maybe Matt, after seeing them sleeping on the job, goes really crazy and hangs Rob to a tree by his feet while holding his machete (sp?) to Rob's neck? Okay, maybe my imagination is going a little wild.

Thanks, Liz!! That was great. I loved the part about Deena wishing she could be anywhere else!!

I also like Deena. But not so much that I didn't thoroughly enjoy her stunned reaction at getting the boot!!! LOL!! She was sooo sure of herself. She shoulda eaten that DEEEEESGUSTING creature. OMG...I soooo hate the challenge where they have to eat yucky stuff. Poor Christy, huh? What a gamer....she kept trying.

Heidi is looking really skanky. I think if they showed her a mirror (please, oh, please give her a mirror!!) she'd be stunned. I noticed that she looks worse and worse and Deena actually started to look better. Softer than she looked originally.


I used to like Rob, but now I'm not so sure. That IS cruel to talk and LAUGH about someone behind their back. I hope Rob gets a come-uppance.

I just might be losing interest in Survivor if this one ends up like the last one with 2 low-down snakes as the final 2. I know it's "outwit" but the scheming/lying thing bothers me after a while. I don't think we'll ever see a Tina win this thing again.

okay, I'm glad deena is gone, now to get rid of the other mole...rob. he wonders why he doesnt have a girl friend? the guys is such a jerk. poor christy , I think she is so naive, I hope someone clues her in . but then again who would it be? matt and alex are too dumb, heidi and jenna are too into themselves, and butch just seems to stay out of the way...by the way, rumors are that cbs execs. are placing bets in vegas and matt and jenna are the favs....yuck!

Oh, I forgot to say that the reason I think they're crying next week is the same reason they've cried every season -- they're bringing the families in somehow, either via video and pictures, phone, or in person.

I finally saw this weeks episode! I am another one who didn't dislike Deena, but I do think she got a little too cocky. And Matthew saying he would tell Butch when it was time to talk was crazy, and I can't believe Butch, who I think is a principal, was okay with that. I can't stand Rob either, but in all fairness, he is playing the "game", but I do hope he gets his due.

I agree this is a crueler bunch. I could never survive this... I do not like Rob...what is it with that name? I could stand the other Rob either...or has it been 3 Rob's? OK CBS...NO MORE ROB'S!! I never really thought about it, but maybe they did change the immunity because of Heidi's knee...she had it wrapped and obviously got medical treatment for it.

Good Riddance Deena--can you believe how arrogant her "farewell speech" was while the credits were rolling !! Rob better watch out next week--he's flying way too above the radar to last much longer.
I think Butch has as good a chance as any; he's not causing any friction and he's not identifying himself as a threat to anyone. They'll pick off the threats first.
